I’ve lost 30 pounds the last 4 months dirty fasting. I open my window at 6pm sharp every night, close it when I feel like it… sometimes two-three hours later, or sometimes just an hour. I have a little milk in my coffee through the day. This approach works for me and is enjoyable and yes, feels totally easy. I’ve tried clean fasting and didn’t find it easier or harder but life lost a little of its shine. I need that milk in my coffee! ☺️ If it stops working, then I’ll look at changing it all up.

I would just like to thank you. Your story has made my journey easier. I am at the beginning of my journey but seeing your success gives me hope. I am not willing to give up all of the foods I love. You are such a genuine person. Love the success stories! I listened to both of your books on Audible, and they changed my approach. I am down 20 pounds after a month and a half. Keep doing what you do!!

I’m not a breakfast person, and have been doing coffee with cream and sugar first thing in the morning for years. But my weight was stuck. I cut the sugar and cream out, without reducing my overall calorie intake, and then lost 5lbs in a week with 16/8. Crazy!

Love your videos they are very helpful. I struggle bad with weight loss. I am trying OMAD and it's been almost 2 weeks. I have only lost about 4 pounds. I feel I am doing really good just Maybe need to be stricter. Idk I get in a slump about 3 o'clock. My feeding window is about 7 to 8 at night. That way I can have dinner with hubby. Any ideas for me though? Any input is greatly appreciated. I also work out 5 days a week.
@jzoberek Жыл бұрын
I think 4 lbs in 2 weeks is a success! How are you now, after a month? I'm a "slow and steady" person---I weigh myself every day, log it in an Excel spreadsheet, then average the month, because weight is naturally going to vary from day to day, and as long as my monthly average is going down, even if by tenths of a pound, it's a success for me. I weigh myself daily because when I hit a new low weight, it's exciting to SEE it, and I might've missed seeing it if I weighed only weekly. I weighed 167 in December; I'm at 153 now, but I was down to 148 last week. Gotta stop celebrating weight loss with food! LOL! Ate too many carbs the past week. I keep a food diary also, so I see trends between what I eat and what I weigh, how often I eat and what I weigh. I've been on an apple binge, but they really do make me hungrier than I normally would be later, and I gain weight overnight. But having seen the 148 on two days, I know I can get back there--it doesn't seem so impossible now. My initial goal weight was 147---I was so close! I usually do 2MAD, eating breakfast at 7 at work during break, and dinner at 4 at home after work. I still eat fast food a couple times a week for dinner (so, like Kayla said, I don't feel I'm depriving myself of something I really like), but breakfast is always 3 eggs, 5 slices of bacon Monday thru Friday, because I do best when I'm mostly carnivore; dinner is usually a steak, chicken thighs, or roast beef. I do OMAD on most weekends, usually eating lunch or late afternoon dinner. Since you said you were trying OMAD, I don't know what your eating pattern was before, but maybe try 2MAD since you get hungry around 3 o'clock, but not have a full meal?

I’ve fasted on and off for a couple years and did lose but then stalled. I joined weight watchers last October and have lost about 30 lbs so far. I recently added IF again and I’m noticing that I gain when doing it. I’m wondering if I’m not getting enough food because of WW pts . In your opinion do you gain if not enough food??

yeah fasting research can easily become "drinking from a water hose". It is very easy to find information on all the benefits of extended fasts. But maybe save those for when you get in plateaus or need some brain boosting effects. Fasting in general helps heal your body but also give your body breaks from fasting.
