Iris is also the coloured part of the eye (around the pupil). Also connected to the goddess Irida, because like the rainbow, it contains so many different colours. I’ve seen the scent of iris described as one of the “make-up” scents that some fragrances have (smelling like cosmetics). Personally, it’s a rather heavy note, I don’t go for it as a rule. Great and informative video, as usual. 👍

This was so interesting, I love iris. I have la vie est belle oui and would love to smell the absolu. I have the prada iris but not so keen on that one and layer it with sweeter scents.

I really like the new LVEB Iris perfume, didn't think it was for me from the descrition. I got the 10 ml perfume for free when I bought a Lancome eyeliner and it's really good!

Thank you for the video! You should do a video of Perfumes that looks (the packaging and bottle) like how they smell, It would be interesting, or names, like Sweet Magnolia but is an Iris perfume, very misleading haha

Do you remember Insolence from Guerlain? Does the Lancome absolu come close to that one?

I do remember! Insolence is a violet perfume, similar to iris but not the same. I recommend Juliette has a gun lipstick fever as an insolence replacement :)

Hi Soki! I've been on the hunt for a perfume category for a week straight and I've come up with very little... Spa-Smelling perfumes! Are there any? I'm talking Eucalyptus, lavender, or mint, sandalwood perhaps, fresh, but not totally citrus. Would you be able to make a list of Spa-Smelling fragrance?
