Thanks for a wonderful tutorial and measurements. I have been wanting to make something just like this. Tip: Glue on strips of fabric instead of using masking tape when fastening the doors and the lid. That will make the "hinges" last a whole lot longer. :)

nice I can't make it because I don't have double side tape and THAT much cardboard and I don't have hot glue

You don´t need the double side tape, it is easier and faster but you could use a glue stick and for the hot glue you can use regular school glue but it will take time to dry :)

This video is genius! I made a variation of this project with the help of this video, only differences are that I painted mine to with a Galaxy look, put in trays for my long necklaces, put in hook like tacks and use hand made cellphone charms to keep the two doors closed (as sort of like a lock) I'm gonna post my variation of the project on a crafting website; give your video link as the tutorial and give you credit ; is that ok?
