This is a great guide. Armor Smithing to lvl 81 and I think I had 1.5 million cats. Also buying the house closest to that trade goods shop allows you to keep the trade window open and sell directly to the vendor.

Thanks and yeah Armoursmithing makes bank! Fun little exploit as well can be done with that too. Sometimes when you buy materials from a shop if you leave the shop open the items made will actually sell for the "buyback" price. It's a little inconsistent but if it happens you get 4x more money for selling the armour as they usually sell for 1/4th of the price.

Always nice to learn more about the game. As I tend to get my money through stealing robotic limbs in Mongrel and just selling them straight to all other vendors, no need for me to have smithing training profitable. But if I ever want to play without stealing, this is good to know. With "infinite" money I just try not to run out of ressources. Put a leather working bench (i mean the one for turning animal skin into leather) as first priority, clothing bench as second priority. Have them both in a room without lights and ideally low power. That just stretches out the time crafting / working with materials a lot and XP is awarded by time spent crafting after all. So my squad can go out and do stuff , while my 'apprentice' levels the skill in town.

I wish all of youtube guides for games were like yours, so concise, and SO much info. Thanks for the video! For leveling attack/defence, would you just follow the same method as your martial arts video, but use a really weak weapon?

Thank you! And for attack yes! Howlers Maze is amazing until around 60ish attack. Stack all the minus attack stuff you can (Foreign Sabre Rusted Junk, Large Backpack, Tin Can helmet, Samurai armour) and it takes just a few game hours to hit that level. Then Iron HQ after that. Gonna make a guide on it later on. Defense is easy vs mongrel guards. Next video is on that :)

I disagree, Mongrel has an ore drill you can loot every couple of minutes to make armour plates all the way to 75 if you want. During that time collect all the fabric you can find and hold on to it. Mongrel is by far the most profitable.

Making Armour Plates isn't very profitable. With Heft you can just keep the shop open, sell your Heart Protectors as you make them from your building and buy materials for more. Just gotta check in every 4 to 5 mins to buy more materials and sell your stock.
