The BEST Keychain light? - Wuben G1 Review

What do you guys think of the G1? What other Wuben lights would you like to see?

Lunintop Frog 2.0, skilhunt EK1, or Nitecore Thumb or Tini2 are better options. The Frog and Tini2 are more expensive however are excellent value for features.

Oh 100% agree that all you listed are better keychain sized lights, but they're also all notably more expensive. The appeal of the Tube, and now the G1, was that they were so cheap you don't really care if they get messed up or misplaced. I guess a more modern equivalent might be the i3e from Olight since they give so many away.

I got this as a free gift a few years ago. It never worked well and after a few months, it stopped working altogether. The Boruit V3 is way better, as is the torch that Keyport sell as an attachment to their key organizer.

Probably not worth the time for such a low cost item, but did you ever look into the warranty? For keychain stuff I tend to prefer the Olight keychain models, but like to keep an eye on the more budget friendly stuff too.ill have to check out the V3!

I carry iMini2 on my keys, i love the no-faff, just on feature. Can't lose the charger and it has a magbase dug me out of the mire a few times with work for me, the exposed LED of these 2 lights would be a concern with scratches and chips etc Great vid though - no nonsense, here's this, that's that, goodbye - great format :)

iMini2 is a great light, mine lives on a little locking S-biner. On my keys still is the original i1R from Olight, it's the smallest of them and it still works so saw no need to scuff up a new light for minor benefits! The exposed LED isn't that much of a problem for most situations but... let's say I wouldn't trust it as much on a set of forklift keys or similar. Thanks for watching! I do worry sometimes because I know I sometimes talk a bit slower, so your feedback of the format is much appreciated :)

@@gearedforward no worries, am enjoying your videos I like the iMini2 as it has the magbase, much more useful to me, can stick it to a data cab or ceiling bar to give that little extra illumination when working and haven't got the main ( lumitop tool AA+mag)

@@Tech-Nobby Mag bases alcan come in clutch, when I worked IT I loved having an Olight S1R on my belt for the same reason.

@@gearedforward hate lugging my backpack to every job . so just have the lumintop, a cybertool lite and a pen on my belt had the perun2mini but right angle mas too awkward have far too many other for hen i remember and am jobbing properly
