I used rotring isographs for years as a note-taking pen for university, in my experience they were excellent at a comfortable angle. The only issue I ever had with them was the nibs; after some time the metal became weakened (probably because of the angle), and watching your 20 USD 0.30 mm nib break in the middle of lecture is truly gut-wrenching.

months later and my sumi ink + rubbing alcohol technical pen ink combo still works also about the "hold it upright" part, i actually found out something about that property, and i told another channel called Peter Draws about it kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaHck2iQl9uCmJI

'rowr' lol. its funny and adorable because its not mine. ah do i dare set you on the path of new old stock dip pens... not those crummy x5! x10! lots. a box of a full 144. im not sure what your criteria is exactly. you cant write vertically with them, but thats true of fountain pens. i guess if you really hated dipping.

I've tried some English made dip pen nibs. Leonardt brand. Quite nice. But every dip increases the chances that I'll spill ink all over the floor, the art and myself.

@@Ashsibe wide bottom ink containers, dont stack them on top of anything (the only time ive spilled so far is because i foolishly had stacked one, knocked it in the dark, and the dry ink in the lid meant it was able to leak out through. ) cut a circle out of a spare sponge and fit the bottle into that to make it wider.
