Nice. I like it, and will definitely be working on clearing with my guys this spring. Being a 12U coach, my favorite drill is progressing 4v3 fast breaks from midfield, adding in a Dmid chaser, and building to a slow-break where they take it around to X. The D gets lots of slide/recovery work in tight, the O starts feeling that risk/reward of when it's a good idea to shoot and when to hang onto the ball. Handling the 4v3 break, in my experience, is about half the game situation in this age group.

I love build up drills. Sneaky conditioning and good chance to work unsettled concepts

this is a great drill. not only is it a great flow drill it involves every position, and has 8 people moving constantly. As a coach you never want to do drills where more than half your team is standing around so this is great!

Thanks and I totally agree! I'm sick of players standing around, just a waste of time. We only get so long with the players so we need to maximize reps whenever possible!

I’ve just recently got into the sport and is learning how to play and this helps me a lot. I’m a sophomore grinding to make it to my school team in the spring. If you have any tips comment down below pls

I have quite a few videos that can help you on this topic. I'd suggest starting here. Good luck and welcome to the game of lacrosse! kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHbComqCi75oq7M

Cool drill. It would be great if you added to these X's and O's a brief video-clip of the drill in action. Thanks!

This video I used lacrosse.sharetheplay.com I'm not sure if there is a lot of support behind it. It's pretty basic and I couldn't really save anything. However, I've recently joined up with LacrosseLab.com/OFFBALLLAX This is a more comprehensive tool that can save your plays, share them with your team, and manage basic team communication. Not trying to make this so sales pitchy...but its the one service I've been using lately and used in my last video about the 10 man ride kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKiTnamArbl-aas I'm guessing there are other tools out there but this is what I've used so far!

Hey coach - I'm a coach for a new high school program in Michigan. Are you using a software to get the field renderings? If so, what are you using.

I combined all Offense, both Attack and Mids. It's great for identifying space and moving the ball. You have to think one pass ahead to get a great look. And then of course shooting!

Awesome! I'm glad it help spur an idea. I enjoy lots of reps, passing/catching, offense/defense, competition...so why not do it all at once! Good luck!
