I remember when I was a kid and Serie A was considered the most beautiful championship in the World because the best players either played there, would go on to play there or had already played there. There was also a streak between 1978 and 2006 where every World Cup winning captain played in Serie A at some point in their career

Still wish we could see some more balance between the Top 5 Leagues. Bundesliga has been dominated by Bayern for 10 years, Ligue 1 has seen PSG winning most of the time (although they have yet to win more than 4 titles in a row) and Premier League has been a "Manchester City VS Liverpool" race for a while now. At least La Liga and Serie A could provide some more balance with the change in title winners. It was nice to see that, after the 9 consecutive Juventus scudettos, both Milan teams have won it, returning to a period where it was normal to see the scudetto change owner

I always wonder if some day we could see a Serie A similar to how it was Pre-Calciopoli. Back then, 7 teams were always competing for the title, and they were also feared and respected across European Competitions. It would be so beautiful to see, for instance, Inter, Juventus, Napoli, Roma, Milan, Lazio and one between Fiorentina and Atalanta actually going so far that it would not be clear who is going to win a title until the very last match

Napoli supporter here, and I gotta tell you that now that Juve's dominance is long gone Serie A has turned into basically the Premier League between 2013 and 2017, only not as rich. You never know what's going to happen and there are goalfests almost every matchday. Speaking of our team, at first I wanted ADL's head on a pike following the departures of some of our most beloved players like Insigne, Mertens and Koulibaly; however, Giuntoli (our sporting director) played an absolute blinder this summer by slashing our wage bill by a third while simultaneously improving our depth and keeping us competitive; Kvaratskhelia is a true baller, he kinda reminds me of prime Kaka in how he plays. Kim Min-Jae had the hardest job in my opinion, since Koulibaly basically held our backline together after Albiol's departure, but so far he hasn't disappointed one bit. I'm expecting a fall in form in the second half, and I genuinely don't think we're gonna go all the way to the Scudetto because that's just tempting fate, but so far we've been damn near unplayable.
