I really want to get started in building lightsabers. Especially the cal kestis replica you made, I just love it and want to make my own. So where am I able to get the hilt that you used

Go for it! It’s super rewarding 😁 I’ve made a couple different types of Cal Kestis sabers so far, the Fallen V2, Fallen V3, and Kestis Survivor. The Fallen V3 is the one I made with the lit up broken end, which was one of my favorite builds 😁 You can find the hilt for that at CCSabers atm, it’s in the 89sabers section. You’ll want to get it weathered too if you want it to look as cool as the one I installed before. The other is the Kestis Survivor, the version without the broken end, which I got from Korbanth 👍 I recommend the Fallen V3 out of the two of them, the Kestis Survivor has a lot of troubles with the hilt construction coming loose

Thank you! I haven’t had the chance to make a saber with both a proffie and rotating motor involved, but it’s definitely possible to adjust the speed. But it depends on how it’s wired to the board, and what parameters need to be changed in the config blade style. The answer might be in the proffie manual, or you can check out the proffie support group on facebook?

Would you ever be willing to install an empty Korbanth Exar Kun hilt? It’s sold as installable. It’s double bladed but using a standard sized hilt. Is that possible to do?

It’s definitely possible to do! I might be willing to take on that kind of project, it really depends on if I have the time or not. But it would be fun to make a double sided saber with a single soundboard setup 😁

You just have to make sure the name of the sound fonts on the SD card match the name of the sound fonts in the Config File

I take a toothpick put a little bit e6000 on those small screws. That's what I do with the Graflex pins.👍

I’m worried about potentially messing up the opening mechanism 😅 Mainly because when I tightened the screws too much it stopped them from opening properly. I’m afraid any sort of adhesive could do the same, but I’m not sure at all

@@averycastillo maybe I tiny bit of blue locklight or that Teflon paste. It's probably your unicorn saber. I know I always mess with my stuff. Probably just check them it just would drive me crazy losing even one screw.It's pretty sensitive and beautiful saber. Good job!
