This was such an amazing time. It's been so long since laughed this hard. Too good. I have to agree that this episode had one of the best lip syncs in Drag Race herstory. It's like Roxxxy showed the soul of drag. Drag is not just about stunts but the life and emotions you bring to movement. It felt like theatre. Roxxxy finally gave ru what she wanted in a Diana Ross song! Detox said it bext Roxxxy is just great at doing drag! The purest form of a lipsync was captivating an audience instantly and Roxxxy won the second she did that turn and stared at the panel! HIGH DRAG

Plastique Tiara must also love Diana Ross, because the lips were moving and the words were syncing! Roxxxy and Plastique, to me, had the best lip-sync of the season with episode 8.

Here for the replay gang!!! Another great review Matty!!! I hope you have a blast this weekend for Houston Pride!! Stay hydrated, bring a portable fan, and put on your sunscreen!!! This was such a great episode that ended with an amazing lip sync!! I think Angie did the right thing by picking Mik because she couldn’t really cut Roxxxy without being super messy and I think she knows she can beat Plastique in a lip sync. Roxxxy embodied TF out of that song. And while I’m proud of Plastique for giving a good performance and knowing the words, Roxxxy had it with a that look up on the 1st “Gets the Prize”!! That lighting hit that face and eyes…DONE!!! At first I thought that Plastique was throwing the lipsyncs so she wouldn’t have to pick, but that doesn’t make sense because she could potentially earn NO money for her charity and leaving it up to the finale to win it all is foolish. I know a lot of people don’t like the fact that no one is going home, but I’m loving knowing more about my favs and getting to see what they turn out after their appearances on their original shows. Let’s celebrate these talented people and there’s still stakes at play!!

That star look wise perfection! My only critique, and this is only if it were to be on an actual runway where you had months to prepare, would be that all the star points are straight as she’s walking because those two flapped over were the only dings that I could give. Beings that are totally irrelevant in a designing challenge for drag race, but I really wanted all the stars pointed as she was walking. I’m not sure how to go about doing so, I assume you can put some piping or something?

This week's challenge had me thinking about why Shannel isn't standing out as much as she could. Her fashion takes aren't as elevated as they can be. I want Shannel to start taking risk with her look, even some of her previous drag was more edgy. I say all this knowing (believing) Shannel is capable of doing so. Just like Plastique is able to be comical, and Vanjie was able to upgrade on her fashion.

The style and color of Roxxxy’s outfit was intentional. Yes, olive green isn’t the most flattering color… BUT we were focused on the mug and gestures… any bright color or pattern would have been a distraction.

I think Nina was in her feelings more about being picked last than what box she would have chosen. Actually she wasn’t even picked, it was more that no one picked her at all. I loved Plastique and Got Mik but I think Got Mik’s was too thick on the waist. “I would have” (sure you would Wael 😂) but I would have crossed the pleats in an X shape and left the waist bare except for that x and then done the skirt to give a beautiful body shape. Can I sew? 😂 whats a sewing machine? I can barely dress myself. But that’s what I thought lol. Nina did great and Roxy was fantastic too. Shannel is never bad but never the best and that’s also OK but I could have seen her win in a couple, judging hasn’t always been fair and there is drama in her getting nothing for production’s sake…
