Seems like the main reason Elk got so strong was just by not dying all early game. Got a couple kills, didn’t die, and BOOM his cullings are blowing people up in midlane.

This was played in patch 14.6. Now in +14.7 with both Nami E max and Imperial Mandate hard nerfed the Lucian+Nami combo will not be like the video anymore. Nami is now a W bot which favours static ADCs more than Lucian.

@@isaacxcheng in league it doesnt matter what your tick is but in an fps u definitely shouldn't check scoreboard mid round, should a-d strafe or counter strafe spam instead. Along with keeping you alert and warmed up it makes you harder to hit if someone gets an angle you don't expect, and, most FPS servers work on a tick (different kind of tick) system that updates when you use inputs that will affect things server side, but it will only register say only every 64th of a second from when you start these inputs (for a 64 tick server), so it can actually just make you faster server side in some scenarios by keeping the server "warmed up" to your inputs too. Probably the only game where standing still to hold is better might be CS because counterstrafes are harder to execute quickly but in val and most other games it really is as easy as pressing the opposite directional button.

I really think EU not that bad , western players are talented as well just look at dota2 and csgo. I think environment plays a huge part, when you play against the stronger opponents you will be better, I think putting G2 in lpl or lck for a couple of years they will be way better , not saying G2 will win lpl or lck for sure but at least way better.

JDG last year became the gold standard. They're almost the same as SKT dominance. The feeling that you know they could win every tournament last year (all road leads to Faker tho). And teams are fighting for 2nd place. I don't have the same feeling with BLG right now. I feel like they could get outplayed by a western team. But T1 will win MSI. Copium.

The biggest difference I notice is that they are respecting their opponents. It's mind games the whole time. Everyone is playing both defensive and offensive at the same time and you never know when that might be fake and your team also reacts to those mind games so it can impact your whole team sometimes. They have good mechanics and communication and most of the time a plan before every game. Anyone above diamond can become a pro and once they get used to it, they can carry soloq as well since the pro environment teaches you to remain calm in most situations. I'm trying to say that they are not pro because they are better, they are better because they are pro. You can learn designing at home but at an actual job as a designer you can learn a lot more
