Here’s our honest review of this hotel: Though we enjoyed ourself here and the workers was very welcoming and friendly! Unfortunately this Dreams resort was nothing like other Dreams locations in other island, for that and other reasons we wouldn’t stay at this resort again for the following issues durning our stay #1 - Extremely understaffed ( due to this only 1 of 3 bars were open durning our week stay, our first 2 nights we was not able to order room service due to the kitchen being understaffed, the restaurants on site hours varied and/ or was different each night again due to staffing and they do not have a dinner buffet so heads up after 4pm your out of luck for food unless the restaurants have availability which depended on if they had workers) #2 Housekeeping - Rooms were half cleaned throughout our stay ie. more than half of the days we stayed here after housekeeping came to clean our rooms we had to call to have our trash replaced, request for new wash/ body towels because “they forgot” the exact words we were told from front desk. #3 Issues with Room - Rooms poorly kept up, toilet needed to be replaced ( extremely worn down), bathroom ceiling leaking water, our first attempt taking a shower, we found out the shower was stopped/ clogged up and remained stopped up our entire stay resulting in us having to wait to take showers 30mins to a hour separately waiting for the water to go down, AC didn’t work at all (we’ve been to several islands over the years and know islands typically don’t have the best AC, but there it was non existent) #4 Service Due to Understaffed - Pool towels rarely replaced throughout the day, no walk up orders, amenities and restaurants hours varied off if they had enough staff to run it vs what the listed hours of operation were Overall, this is just our opinion from our experience after spending a week here, again the workers that was here were extremely nice and welcoming but the cons outweighed the pros for us, feel free to form your own opinion if you intend on staying here.

Hi...I just returned from Dreams Curacao this past Monday (2/5)...I've been to many resorts and this is certainly one of the worst...first it is NOT a luxury resort!!! Maybe a 3 star or 2.5...Some of my issues: -Paid for Ocean View, we were looking at the roof -Next day at 4pm got into new room, which was nice -Included 2 robes and slippers, but had to find housekeeping for 2nd pair -In first room, no hot water in shower -Every day had to ask for clean towels -Ceiling in meeting room next to casino was leaking and dripped on me -Dinner at Portofino Restaurant was poor, all I had was pasta w sauce & shrimp -Dinner at small outside restaurant, next to bar, was EXCELLENT!!! We had to wait, but the food was really good -And special shout out to Coreen, she was so helpful and kind!!! The resort is close to airport, it has the space and grounds....it just needs to be updated, staffed and managed well

We totally agree & had a lot of the same problems as you! Not sure if you seen our pin comment giving our honest review here but we certainly wouldn’t recommend this resort as well, encountered some very welcoming and nice workers but far too many problems and outdated which was a surprise to us in comparison to other dreams locations we’ve stayed at which was truly a more luxury experience. Had we not had a rental car and was forced to stay on the resort, don’t think we would have lasted 10 days here.

Of course! Next time we visit we most likely would do an Airbnb due to how adventurous Curaçao is (possibly a resort in mambo beach as we’ve heard they have some nice luxury resort/ villas)

how much was the car location ??? do you know when will the pods open ?? thinking of going there on august 30th

We paid $360.14 for our rental car through National for 6 days. Assuming you meant pool instead of "pods" I believe its open all year round as most resorts typically are but not 100% sure. Hope that helps

​@@marcomillette4012 Sorry totally forgot about them, the pods/ beach villas I'm not sure they were still in construction so pricing wasn't available yet when we was there. & correct $360 USD for the rental car We wouldn't recommend this resort, just too many issues we've been to over 20+ resorts in the caribbean islands over the years and by far this was the worst! Its not letting me tag you in our comment explaining our issues here but its the pinned comment on this video
