I remember when Ninjakilla was just some random dude who was absolutely destroying the competitive scene in Destroyers MKX tournaments. He was effortlessly beating returning pros like Scar, Rewind, Semij, Tweedy and even a rusty Sonicfox. I've never seen anyone dominate and play Dragon's Fire Liu Kang as well as Ninja did. I used to think Sonicfox was the goat at MK and that no one would match him in skill. But Ninja has definitely proven to be his equal and I personally believe that he may even be better than Sonic. Those flawless blocks and microducks were something else.

@@blackshadexl I think currently Ninja is better since Sonic doesn’t grind anymore. At the peak of MK11 it’s up for debate. In MKX Ninja is easily the better player. He walked through a rusty Sonic in their first set. In the second set, Sonic came prepared with a Dvorah counter pick but still lost badly to Liu Kang. Ninja had to switch to Kotal because Sonic didn’t have an answer to Liu.
