I've got this tablet with 8/256Gb. I'll tell you, it's great. This is the most detailed review of it I've seen. Also I'm doing some art work on it too is brilliant. The pen is separate but the recommended stylus pen 3 charges magnetically to the back. It's a workhorse, I use for my work when I'm mobile. I do want to see Lenovo develop it's software support though, it can do better. But as it is with Android 12 , it's perfect 👍... That pairing with the screens is great, didn't know it could do that. 👌

Have you noticed issues with HDR and Dolby vision? People say on Netflix that it can turn the black bars grey or give a general greedy film. People in forums saying "HDR broken" and that the international version for this received a fix by update . Curious what your experience is

I nearly got this, but I went with the Lenovo Legion Y700 instead. Got a great bargain on the 2023 edition for around £315, special promo offer. Crazy specs for it being an 8.8" tablet. 16GB DDR5 RAM, 512GB space (expandable up to 1TB), Snapdragon 8+ (octa-core) and Adreno 730 GPU. For the price it's unbeatable.

I was interested until I saw lenovo's forum. Every single tablet is a forgotten device in terms of updates and support. this one is no exception and it has lots of bugs that can be "simple" fixed with a software update that never comes. they promise the update will arrive by q1 then q2 then q3 and Im pretty sure they will soon delay to q4 and not bring any update this year.

True, for the most part. The tablet is now on Android 13 and Lenovo said that 14 will follow. At least that.

From what I'm reading Lenovo are too lazy to even upgrade this to Android 13. I'll give it a miss. At least Samsung provide monthly security patches and os updates. Gotta do better than that Lenovo in 2023.

Wth?? Why is it so cheap in your country. In India, it’s literally $500. 😅 but it also comes with the precision pen 2 here. I guess thats a nice add on. Would love it if you reviewed the accessories as well. I want to buy it for note taking. And i m currently torn between this and the tab s8.

Totally different. The p11 pro has a better screen and audio, and it’s cheaper. But it’s android.

I have the tab p11 plus but got say lenovo makes some good laptops, shame they dont have their own Ios as sometimes android be iffy at times but not deal breaker. I only wish someone would make a keyboard cause similar to the typecase and finite style ysed for fire hd tablet and ipad. One day perhaps but wouldn't trade my lenovo since been good to me. Love to get hands on a tab p12 at some point bu the p11 suits me.

has anyone tested plex or a video player with a h265 hdr 10bit or dolby vision file? I've read that some lenovo tablets won't allow HW decoding even though their processors handle the codecs.

...but, the display brightness is PWM controlled...... 120hz image vibration /flickering/ /this is not refresh rate/! This is very bad news! I would have bought it anyway, but I didn't because my eyes are sensitive to the flicker effect! Relative "danger" range is under 500 - 600hz flickering!

The problem with Lenovo is they sell you the product and then don't support it! If you get any updates you will be lucky if they don't have problems that make your tablet worse! So I'd pass unless you are happy with the system as is without updates ever.
