I got Frenetic Delicieuse (per your recommendation) and it IS lovely! On me it leans more fresh than gourmand though. And it reminds me of Guerlain Shalimar (but without the old lady vibes)! It's sophisticated and grown and beautiful and I could go on and on! LOL!

I just got Majd al Sultan and it is what I was hoping Encre Noire al Extreme would be. It’s profound yet immediately accessible and not overpowering: the perfect winter fragrance. Incense and smoke and balsamic pine notes. Truly gorgeous straight out of the box. Oh I love it, just love it. It’s winter in Australia and this one will be getting a lot of wear. Thank you so much for your recommendation. I’m looking forward to experiencing Araak and Bidun Esam, both in the mail. A special thank you for addressing Ahmed Al Maghribi. They are criminally underrated as a brand and I am hoping your attention to them will boost their reputation. There is another KZbin reviewer who speaks of Al Maghribi but she does not have the succinctness and grasp on how to convey the essence of a fragrance that I’ve come to love from your reviews and her reviews are long. I find myself finishing her reviews thinking… ‘yeah, that’s all great - but what does it actually smell like?’

I just got some new middle eastern fragrances that I will review soon… well one of them I already reviewed: Lattafa Kashaf - smells just like Mula Mula (blue bottle) … it’s sooo good and sexy … I did a review on it last week Asdaaf Sa’ud - I just got it today. Idk if it’s a dupe or an original, but omg it’s regal! It lowkey reminds me of Cavort by Fragrance du Bois (minus the sharp yellow florals) with some facets of Boadicea’s Blue Sapphire … perfectly unisex

My favorite rose is Swiss Arabian Rose 01, Matin Martine Lady Rosa, Gourmand is Swiss Arabian Tonka, Arabiyat Prestige Aariz Intense, Oud/woodys are Swiss Arabian Kashkah cpo/edp, Arabian Oud Kalemat, Pearla Nera Bacetto, Arabiyat Prestige Hypnotic Oud, Vanilla is December Vanilla, Arabiyat Prestige Ishatar, my favorite Al Haramain are Tanasuk extrait Edp paired w/ the Tanasuk CPO and Jameela EDP paired with the oil. I'll be Rocking Orientica Arte Bellissima Exotica and Melodie de Orientica. Supremacy Tapis by Afnan, L' Intrude Maison Alhambra, Rasasi Arba Wardat EDP and Cpo, Ebhar, Soryani and on and on... I have around 450 Middle Eastern frags and oils ttl. Many of the ones you mentioned are also in my collection. I wear them and love them all! 💕

I can also tell you that if you adore Guava I just don’t see how you would not Love this fragrance…. Hi Yalonda! Hope you had a great weekend! I would recommend that you take your Taskeen Marina outside of your home in an open air space and spray it at least 5 full times! Then put it in a non light exposed shelf inside your home for 2 weeks. At the end of those 2 weeks I want you to not overspray when trying it so basically only do your wrists, pulse points and one behind your neck not behind your ears. And see if you still get a headache! There are other fragrances that I can recommend but since you already spent on this one I would like to help you make it work. But let me know if you still want me to recommend another. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I got the Bidun Esam and wore it today. Initially my daughter said I smell like an old lady and a man! LOL. As it began to dry down during the day it started to smell much better. I reapplied it again 7 hours later and asked her what she thought about it, she said "this one is much better". I told her it was the same one! It must''ve been the first few sprays, it smelled different once I got past the 5th spray. It's gorgeous! This will be an evening fragrance for me or special events and will work in the summer time. Definitely loved seeing your favorites in all these great categories! I have and enjoy many of your favorites, and a few were purchased based on your recommendation.❤ I have recently returned to Frenetic Delicieuse and I am enjoying it much more than at first spray - initially the powderiness was overwhelming all of the other notes. I also find overly powdery fragrances somewhat irritating to my nose, so I was really happy that after letting it macerate the powderiness has been toned down which lets all of the other notes shine through. Now I'm really loving it! I don't have Eternal Meadows yet, so I am considering getting that one! I always look forward to your Middle Eastern Thursday videos! ❤

Yes, I have Flor Oud and I do really enjoy it! On first spray I could only smell the floral notes, and now after a couple of weeks more of the fruity notes are coming forward, which I am very happy about. I hope it will continue to develop and become more complex. 😀 I am definitely looking forward to your review of Creation de Reve, since I don't have that one! ❤@@ArahiWorld

There's a few channels including yours that NEVEr steer me wrong...everyone hyped the emir feve delicious. Online tho people hate it. I didn't read those reviews until AFTER I ordered mine. I got it last week and it's AWFUL. Besides Yara &latafa Amethyst it's my worst middle eastern buy..by far. It's pugemt. I wanted this perfume for years too!! I'm so disappointed in it. I can see how people like it. But I feel it's not feminine. I dont feel it's a gourmand whatsoever nor do I feel it's delicious. All I get is powder&tobacco. I realized I hate tobaccp and this perfume made me realize that. Hopefully it will get better as it macerates. If it does I'll update..buy no girl no!!Not for me!! LolI'm so intrigued by December vanilla.

I have over 400 bottles in my collection and I found the FRENETIC DELICIEUSE disgusting, my biggest disappointment, it's so bizarre to me that so many people seem to love it. All my work mates were suffocating when I used it at work and told me they hate it (they know I'm a collector and they often give their opinions, I only sprayed it once on a tissue and put it on my desk when the parcel arrived). I sold it right away. I found it bitter, powdery, old fashion and just not pleasant in any way, I wanted to wash it off every time I tested it.

I also bought khadlaj maison epoque artistique and found it too manly so just sold it too. I can recognise the quality so I'm tempted to try Flor Oud - could you try to compare it to anything at all, to give me some idea? It's not on Fragrantica yet. Recently I am loving Nishane Ani's dupe Nasheet and just discovered Fort Royal Le Couvent is another dupe hard to get in uk. I also love FK Grand Soir and Eternal Oud from Lattafa, plus anything rose and white florals... I am not a fan of pink/girly scents.

OMG! I have been warning others in the Fam when they ask me that Epoque Artistique definitely leans masculine! I think I even said it in one of the recent videos but will make sure I let others know! So I really have no point of comparison for Flor Oud…. I really think that all the fragrances in that collection are original creations…. There is just something so different in their quality.. and believe me I have tried to see if the 3 I have compare to anything but have not been able to find anything.Oh I too love Nasheet but did not include it in my favorites because I just recently discovered it… now I have never heard of the Fort Royal one so I will be googling as soon as I finish this message! 😂😂😂 I will continue to dig around and talk to others and if I find a point of reference for Flor Oud will certainly let you know. ❤❤❤❤

@@ArahiWorld ah no way, shame I didn't catch that in time, I bought it based on some man review and he said it's unisex vanilla heavy. Later I heard it's an Invictus Victory Elixir Paco Rabanne dupe. I think I will wait with Flor Oud until there are more reviews, as I get tired on reselling on ebay haha Another one I found surprising is that so many ppl love that green Vibrant one, a dupe for Bal d'Afrique, I also sold it bc it was so bitter and very synthetic to me, I couldn't digest it. I'm also not the biggest fan of Rifaquat and much prefer the Ishk al Shiuk one. It's a hard life trying and reselling so many frags to find the ones we truly love haha

I’ve been binging your videos and like everyone else, I’ve found you very well-spoken and all of your reviews are very detailed and incredibly honest, which is pretty rare these days. So, thank you so much Arahi! One thing I wanted to bring to your attention is that the word Oriental is a racially offensive word to us in the region. Orientalism as a whole is very degrading, fetishizing, othering, and has very ugly colonial roots. You’ll even notice the vocabulary automatically and unintentionally used to describe it is fetishizing and othering, like “exotic”, or like the infamous TikToker who described Hareem Al Sultan as “a woman with her t**ties out being fed grapes”. Thankfully, a lot of fragrance houses (Ormonde Jayne, Frederic Malle, Kilian, Le Labo, etc.) have started to catch up since 2021 and have banned and replaced the O word with terms like “Amberesque”. Just thought I’d throw this here because you really strike me as a cultured woman who might appreciate this, and the audience here is just lovely.

As I expected, such an elegant cultured woman ♥️♥️♥️ I believe that currently only Ormonde Jayne are using “Amberesque” (I could be wrong), but it’s not a recognizable term to most people yet. Others have started to just use descriptors that are specific for each fragrance (i.e, amber spicy, woody ambery, deep oud, etc.) so that’s another good option that won’t be entirely foreign or confusing to your audience ♥️
