I think with the "wood planks to make stone axe" is because there isn't a wood axe in real life, so their probably just going with one that looks like stone (I don't know why they did that considering the animation is great and they could've easily made a wood axe with animation or just carve a wood blade shaped like an axe blade and use that. I've only made it 1 minute in and it looks amazing). Also, steve and alex looked confused when they punched the trees.
