Stade Canac in Québec city. This is my local ball park. Even though it is in Canada. It’s definitely worth attending a game. It is home of the Quebec Capitales from league frontier. Built in 1939, you can just feel the history entering in.

OKC was the 89ers for years. It is in honor of the first land run in 1889 where settlers could claim land as a homestead. They are kind of trialing that name now, using it once a week. There's a good chance that is where they land next year. Glad you mentioned the park, absolutely one of my favorites. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles like pools and rides, but fantastic place to actually watch a game.

Saint Paul Saints games are always a good time. Here is a list I sourced of some of the shenanigans the team has done to keep fans entertained throughout the years. 1. The "Umpire-Safe House": In 1997, the Saints built a wooden house for umpires to protect them from fans' criticism. The house featured a screen door, flower boxes, and even a small doghouse for a stuffed dog. 2. Night of 1,000 Boos: In 2010, the Saints invited fans to vent their frustrations by booing various figures, including an actor dressed as a BP oil executive following the Deepwater Horizon spill. 3. Pig Mascots: Each season, the Saints introduce a new pig mascot with a quirky name, often related to current events or popular culture. Past names include "Stephen Colboar," "Notorious P.I.G.," and "Garrison Squealer." 4. Ball Pigs: The Saints have a tradition where a live pig delivers baseballs to the umpire. This quirky tradition has been a fan favorite and adds to the fun atmosphere at their games. 5. Funeral Giveaway: In 2010, the Saints gave away a funeral package worth $10,000 to one lucky fan. The package included a casket, embalming, a hearse, and a burial plot. 6. Ain’t Saints Night: This event allowed fans to confess their sins to a "priest" in exchange for forgiveness and a discount on tickets. Fans could also participate in a "Nuns with Guns" contest, shooting water pistols. 7. Bobblection: The Saints hold a "bobblehead election" every presidential election year, where fans can choose between bobbleheads of the major party candidates. The event generates buzz and engages fans in a fun and lighthearted way. 8. Airstream Trailer Press Box: The Saints have used an Airstream trailer as a press box, adding to the quirky charm of their ballpark experience. 9. Tweeting Wiener: The Saints introduced a mascot named "The Tweeting Wiener," a giant hot dog that roams the stadium tweeting live updates and interacting with fans on social media. 10. Toilet Seat Cushion Giveaway: To poke fun at traditional stadium giveaways, the Saints handed out toilet seat cushions to fans, highlighting their playful approach to promotions. 11. Earliest Start Time of Any Major League Game: On May 11, 2018, the Saints hosted a game that started at 5:30 AM, setting the record for the earliest start time in the history of major league baseball. This unusual start time was part of a promotion to cater to early risers and generate buzz around the team.

2 important things here: Many of the above events happened before the Saints moved to their current home - Midway Stadium, the previous ballpark, billed itself as "The Ugliest Ballpark in America" (and having suffered on its aluminum bleachers in a hot summer day, I can agree with that), and also the Saints did not become the Twins' AAA affiliate until the 2021 season - up until the 2020 season they were an independent baseball team and arguably the most successful team in indie ball, originating in 1993 with the now-defunct Northern League before defecting to the American Association in 2005. The Saints also share their home stadium with a university team; CHS Field is also the home field of the Hamline University Pipers.

The Elsinore ballpark reminded me of a park I loved, Westgate Park in San Diego when it had a minor league team in the 60's. It was lovely and well situated in the as-yet-not-developed Mission Valley and was reputed to be more comfortable than some major league parks. I was young and it was a good place to learn pro ball closeup.

Shoutout to AT&T Park in Chattanooga -- home of the Reds' AA affiliate, the Lookouts, which was featured as the primary B-roll in both of your videos! The number of games I went to in just my first year living in the Scenic City was nuts. Not a special ballpark, but the views of the neighboring bridges over the Tennessee River and the next-door Tennessee Aquarium are awesome sights to be seen during a night game. Great place in a great town with even greater people.

Maybe for your next video you could read off and talk about our favorite stadiums and the memories we've made there. My favorite is Arthur W Perdue Stadium where my Delmarva Shorebirds play. I grew up always within a 20minute drive of the Stadium so I regularly attended games and watch greats like Nick Markakis, and Manny Machado get their pro debuts for the Shorebirds. My greatest memory there came last year when I was chosen to umpire a High School game that was played at the stadium. Being a 3rd base Umpire at my local minor league stadium is a peak memory.

I'm glad to see you include Polar Park, but way to butcher pronouncing Worcester. It's pronounced Wuss (like you're calling someone a wuss) ter. It's not that hard. That being said - the skyline around it will look a lot better once all of the construction around it is finished. Because where the stadium sits now and everything around it was just old warehouses and factories up until just a couple of years ago.
