IMPORTANT NOTE: First, Merry Christmas all! Hope you have a blessed day🎁 Next I want to make a correction for the 1st team. In the team's support section I mentioned shielders, but with the duo of miaybi and say jane, grace, and burnice, playing those shielders alongside this duo will not activate miaybi's additional ability, of which you need to do since its a huge dmg increase. So instead of using shielders, simply use soukaku as she'll trigger miyabi's additional ability. Soukaku won't do this for the 2nd anamoly unit you'll be using but still miyabi's passive will sort of negate the lack of your 2nd anamoly units additional ability. The shielders will still apply for the 2nd team because yanagi will trigger miaybi's ability.

If you get his m2 I believe you don't get energy for ex but you do get enough charge for the hold basic shield

If you don’t have Yanagi you need other Section 6 characters that can build Anomaly really quickly. Ice and Frost are separate Anomaly despite these two can buff each other which can leads to Disorder. This means, if you don’t have Yanagi. Soukaku with Anomaly build isn’t a very bad choice to use. Soukaku is the only support in the game that can build up Anomaly very quickly. Her Fanning or flags? Build up Anomaly very quickly. Like seriously 4-5 Fans can cause freeze. Yes, she is slow so you need some timing. I recommend to cause Frostburn to Freeze the target first then you bring Soukaku to Fan build up Anomaly. It isn’t as fast as Yanagi but you gain 2 orbs every of her Disorder so it isn’t a bad deal. You can bring Grace too she can build up Anomaly really quickly.

Thanks for mentioning. I've noticed these things as well. Frost and Ice are actually different as disorder can be done with them and soukaku's ex special atk is actually quite good for triggering this disorder. This probably also means that soukaku's mindscape of decreasing ice res doesn't apply to miyabi. Hopefully she gets a dedicated support soon even though I suppose she doesn't exactly need one

@@jjjackal1110 Frost uses Ice bonuses and debuffs, so Soukaku's Ice RES shred mindscape should apply to her Miyabi even has Ice RES shred in her own additional ability so it wouldn't make sense for her to have that if it doesn't do anything for her :P

Sometimes I'll play Miyabi and Nicole if I want a challenge since Miyabi is so broken. I don't use Lighter or Qingyi its just more fun causing corruption disorder with Zhu Yuan and Nicole even if its suboptimal to Yagani and Burnice builds.

I'd go with the first one. With miyabi's set you'll gain an extra 12% crit rate so a ratio of 74 and 172 is very nice (you'll also gain extra crit dmg with her set). Even though for the 2nd ratio you'll pretty much never non crit with the extra 12% crit rate, its 49% less crit dmg is a huge difference from the 1st ratio

I have both Yanagi and Miyabi, but as my two main Dps agents I'm currently running them on separate Ice and Electric teams. As for Miyabi, I'm running her with Sokaku and Lycaon.

My best team m1w1 miayabi/m1w1 burnice/m1w1 Yanagi. Nothing survives, "shields"(invulnerability windows/dodge/yanagi m1 abuse) are completely skill based. Just feels overall rewarding as hell to play

Also burnices build becomes so fast with m1 miyabi build up in effect. Not even running Freedom, but it's legit not even a 2 sec on most enemies. So that instantly nets 2 stacks, into a yanagi double disorder, because yanagis build up also becomes busted as shit. Cant wait for m2 miyabi to make this team even smoother.

another viewer had mentioned of using 3 anomaly units in her team but I thought it wasn't optimal. Do you know whats the benefit of using 3 anomaly units? Is it that you'll have all these different elements going on so there'll be multiple instances of disorder?

​@@jjjackal1110exactly. You technically don't need to run 3 anomaly but the reason burnice/yanagi work so well is because or their own dmg/wicked fast build up/burnices afterburn gimmick/yanagis extra polarity disorder (ex special/ult). Gets 6 stacks in 2-3 sec. I'm m5 now, got stupid lucky.

Rotation is: opener charge atk/dbl ex special (iceburn procs, 5 stacks)/basic combo(combo finisher into 5th basic if enemy atks) for 6 stacks (11 sec), into burnice ex special dump(burn, 1st disorder, +2 stacks), into yanagi ex special dump (shock + polarity disorder, +4 stacks). All of that roughly 15 sec. Leading back to 3rd miyabi charge atk/ults up due to m4/and enough energy to do it all again. M4 iceburn turns out gives those extra decibels for each iceburn that occurs and allies actually get half of the amount generated.

​tldr. It's because of their different elements and that they compliment each other's playstyles. M1 yanagi = the "tank"/stack generator. M1 burnice = the off field applier/extra dmg/ult combo'r/dodge afficionado (seriously her ex special 1 is underrated) Miyabi=the nuke that's fueled by all of it/stupid amount of invulnerability. All 3 used at that lvl covers all roles extremely comfortably. Tower 25 was the only thing put up a fight.

Lol no one in the comments mentioning Miyabi / Ben / Lucy with one of 'em fire bangboos. If you've been playing since release, chances are Ben and Lucy are both at M6. Ben: team-wide shields & crit rate buff, decent impact/daze Lucy: near constant ATK & crit dmg buff. She's support too so she activates Miyabi's buff I trigger Disorder VERY often since the setup spams EX special (which triggers Lucy's M6 effect), and if I slap Seth's weapon on Ben (and give him Energy Regen on Disc 6), the shields are up enough that it feels like having Caesar in the team.

Is grace good for miyabi? ALso lycon is he good or better for miyabi than grace?

grace is good for miyabi as is lycaon, but I'd recommend to use grace and soukaku. Soukaku will enable you to create the disorder type of team I first mentioned which is really good. Lycaon in the team is usable and fun tbh, but I'm unsure if whether lycaon activates miyabi's addtional ability. With him and miaybi in a team it only shows 1/2 abilities and doesn't indicate whose ability is active. Plus the grace, miyabi soukaku disorder team is stronger than miyabi grace and lycaon, as mentioned in the "highest dmg but what cost team type." Hope this helps

that's because that engine is only meant for attack characters, while miyabi is anomaly. You have to equip anomaly engines on miyabi

I've been using Miyabi with Lighter & Lucy, as well as Lycaon & Soukaku. Both SLAP, but I'm sure Miyabi being M2 is a big factor. I'm so bummed I missed out on Yanagi, I started too late.

I didn't get lighter because of yanagi but not going to lie I kinda regret not getting him. Though I have lycaon and no fire dps I played his events and he was fun to play

@jjjackal1110 Hopefully Yanagi comes back around soon. I think Lycaon is just as good as Lighter, though. Lighter would fit well with the upcoming fire DPS, but other than that, you aren't missing much with him.

Tbh at m2 the gap closes so much that you are better off just running hypercarry anyways over yanagi team. Since a well build m2 can just clear everything in 1 full charged basic and ult

I’m Lowkey a broke unlucky dude I tried getting miyabi w engine twice both from pity but I got rinas both times I’m gonna crash out but that isn’t the reason I’m commenting. So I’ve been using Lucy, Miyabi, Soukaku in this order and so far it hasn’t let me down but I was wondering if y’all could come up with a better team for me; I don’t have any s rank characters besides miyabi, rina and Harumasa, however I have all A rank characters in the game I hope you guys can help me.

sorry to hear that, but good news I can recommend you a better team. Miaby with soukaku and piper would be good. Though if you want to continue running two supports, I think miyabi with soukaku and rina would be best. Lucy is very good but with her and soukaku, you'll get so much atk that having rina's pen ratio would likely be better. So perhaps try these two teams and see how they do

glad you enjoyed it, you'd have to use soukaku since soukaku will activate miyabi's additional ability, not lucy. And its important you activate miyabi's ability since its very important for her dmg

At m2 I'd say her requirement of yanagi isn't as great and she becomes stronger, though the strength of her team types don't really change. So an anomaly team would be better than the stun team, yet the stun team would be more usable than it is at m0

yes, that's a good team to use. But when you get other anomaly units you should use one of them with Miyabi since disorder is really good for her.

For both your questions you do not need to do those things. Lycaon wants impact instead of anamoly proficiency since he's gonna stun instead of deal reaction dmg. Soukaku wants atk not proficiency. Then freedom blues on soukaku can be used but it isn't needed.

​@@TheKupidonyx they don't need to dispell frost, miyabi can still deal her dmg to enemies affected by frost. But honestly it is smart to trigger frost's anamoly reactions with lycaon and soukaku as then when miyabi triggers frostburn, disorder will be caused. If this is what you're trying to do then i'd say its best to build anamoly mastery on soukaku since you can achieve her requirement of atk without going full atk on her drive disks. Lycoan could also run anamoly mastery since he'll spend more time on field than soukaku but still use impact on him so he'll still be able to stun enemies

three dps' sounds quite fun. In truth I need to build my harumassa but back to your team they'll have some problems since each dps would want to spend a lot of time on field yet can't since you'll be switching between three of them. This team is good for fun but for the hollow zero try to use a team with miaybi, soukaku and another anomaly unit

That's because you should use anomaly mastery (AM) instead of proficiency. AM enables the character to apply more of their element, thus they can trigger their anomaly reactions faster and the process of disorder can commence. AP only causes anomoly reactions to deal higher dmg. Also I'd recommend using soukaku instead of rina as soukaku applies a lot of ice on enemies even without AM. And if you were to give lycoan AM that would take away his impact disk which would be bad. Rina could use AM but she doesn't spend much time on field and disorders would still be tough to do since lycaon and rina are different elements, so instead of triggering disorder you'd just be building up their respective anomaly reactions

What are your build and main stats for Lycaon and Soukaku? I’ve been having second thoughts about whether I should build them specifically for Miyabi, which is anomaly-based. If I do, they might not be as viable when used in other compositions. Sure, I could just swap discs if needed, but that seems like tedious work, especially if it happens frequently.

Miyabi, Rhina, and Grace. I just got the game over a week ago (I didn’t see that it was even on the PS5…) No Yanagi, lol. But Grace’s a decent lightning disorder person if you don’t have Yanagi. I got a little robot dude that helps build electric anamoly, and Rhina’s buff is amazing with Miyabi. I can’t for the life of me pull that wolf dude (he’s fucking awesome!). But I got that little blue demon child who’s swinging that big ice pat…. Are they good with Miyabi? That’s just a super clunky character.

the blue demon child (soukaku) is actually really good with miyabi. She's basically one of her best supports. And ya the wolf dude is also really cool, he's my favourite stun characters (his names lycaon). As far as stunners go, lycaon is quite good for miyabi, though miyabi doesn't shine as much with stunners as she does with other anomaly agents. Congrats on your account too, just over a week of playing and getting 3 5 stars is amazing!

@ thanks for the advice and praise! There’s a reason I zoomed so fast through the story of the game, and it isn’t because of money (I have spent a little..) Miyabi was my second draw of the game…. That’s basically a cheat code, lol. I was so new to the game, I couldn’t even figure out how to get back to the pull screen, and by the time I did I had so many polygon things, that I bought Rhina (hated her at first, I thought she was just bad all around… happy to be proven wrong there), I then got lucky again and got her W-Device, and Grace all within about less than 20 draws… Needless to say, I’m not even sure what’s going on a lot of the time…. But it is very fun and flashy.
