The Best MK7 GTI Intercooler setup! (More Boost Better Cooling!)

Today we installed Dual intercooler piping and what this does is that it allows us to run both the front mount intercooler and the stock one in between the radiator. I highly recommend this mod for anyone that wants more boost, power, and cooling!

When removing your front bumper, disconnect the battery before doing so. Otherwise, you'll end up with radar sensor adaptation error that might cost you close to $2000. The front radar is located right behind your front VW emblem.

Used the forge twintercooler setup myself. Bit of a pita to install, but easier than replacing the stock intercooler and you get the same benefits. Make sure to disconnect your battery at least 20 mins before disconnecting the collision warning sensor behind the emblem or it will need to be recalibrated at the dealership ($$). Recommend not to get the eBay/chinese knock off parts: you will have fitment and/or quality issues and wish you had just spent the extra couple hundos for a reputable brand.

If u already had the CTS intercooler u should have just bought the silicone twintercooler hoses for the CTS. Another things almost all twintercooler hoses need to be cut a bit it wasn't that u got the wrong one

Good presentation. Just one point off topic, in the English language, 'MK' is an abbreviation for the word, 'mark'. So you wouldn't say, 'M K 7' to describe this model of Golf, you would say, mark 7. I'm Northern Irish and we speak English better than the English. Take this on board and improve your vocabulary if you want. Or ignore it, your choice. I'm running stage 1 engine and gearbox re map on a Ea888 gen 3. No real need for an intercooler or oil cooler, as I dont do track and on a good day you're very lucky to get a high temp of 22 Celsius where I am. I would definitely recommend a DSG cooler and a full catch tank system to replace the PCV valve, to aid reliability.
