Got to love yugioh from 2012 all the way to goat. Bluff was an art in those days and the surprise comebacks with that single draw and the creative plays to get rid of opponent strong monsters. To me yugioh died when negate effects started be more common and monsters had effects during opponents turn around 2013.

33:48 the only time you will see "immediately" in new cards is if it is followed by "after this effect resolves". The concept of immediate effects was changed to "Speed Spell 4".

nah u cant look at it like that tbh. You have to adjust and adapt. If you willingly choose not to play strong cards, thats kinda on you. Unless they add formats one day, theres no reason to hold your deck back

It’s not that I don’t know how to play this game but the moment I think I make a strong deck to try to rank up while platinum, I either get a terrible hand, I bump into a duelist that somehow beats me before getting a turn, or I see a card played from one of archetypes I mentioned. I don’t duel to be one of the best. I mostly duel so I can earn gems even though I already finish the battle pass.

Bricking sucks, but it happens. Now if you brick A LOT then it means you got a deck issue and gotta look into your overall cards on what you dont want to open with. If you have too many cards that you dont wanna see in your opening hand, you gotta adjust it I'd say
