I do like how Bungie adjusted the artifact too. There are things for multiple subclasses and weapons, instead of being shoehorned into one subclass and weapon set for the entire season. Defintie improvement. Now, along with all the subclass 3.0 changes we've gotten, has made diversity in classes and builds SO MUCH BETTER imo

The new mod system is so much better. We just need more ways of getting armor charge like the old system. It would be dope to see seeking orbs or cumulative charge again.

Pre-Lightfall I've always wanted a mod that functions like Font of Wisdom, where it flat out boosts your stats. As someone who always rocks 100 Resilience and Discipline the addition of Font of Restoration and all the new Font mods is a huge W imo.

Funnily enough with the amount of orb generation in PvP, there's actually consideration to use these Font mods to supplement stuff like Discipline and Strength, especially with the loss of the stat bumps from Powerful Friends, etc.

Is lightfall worth jumping back into as a solo player? I stopped playing when most of my friends quit around the launch of D2. I've jumped into every major expansion, but stopped playing after a week or two each time other than forsaken

just like what you said, the armor system currently is much better and simpler! my only issue right now is the orb itself should be more visible like much bigger and brighter..... or just make it like a seeker similar to what we got before as a qol!!

It's simpler, but I can't say it's really better. Right now you can make builds to get tier 10 on multiple stats, but before you didn't needed to, cause you could generate a ton of wells to give way more ability energy than the current builds will give to you, or you could use the old versions of Firepower and Heavy Handed that were much more powerful than the current Kickstarter mods. I don't want to bash on the new system, I really liked most of the changes, but the builds in the old system were way more powerful than anything we can come up with now

Hmmm miss me with inconsistent perks in hard mode content. You have armor charge until you REALLY need it, then you wish you had 10 resil.

Yea tbh I can agree with just having 10 resil but then you’d just do this with another stat like discipline or strength so the value is absolutely there while not having to worry about not having 100 resil always.

Yeah, just always being there is way better in my mind then having to pick up orbs when you are back against the wall in master content. The whole mini game thing in Weapons and now Armor is just a miss for me. Im not into it.

No. You can't go above level 10 in any stat. So it would just be a waste.

Emergency Reinforcement is only 10%, literally any of the white mods that don't use armor charges are better and not time limited.

Don't like this mod system compared to what we had before tbh. I'm finding that many times walking over to pick up an orb just isn't a safe option, but it's the only thing we can build into now. We really need alternate ways to get charges.
