Well, it is very rude to say that going to therapy is a sign of weakness. It's not. It's actually the complete opposite to open up to a complete stranger for help. Most of the time, the people who say they don't need therapy are the ones who need it the most. Also, him harping on the word "offend" is annoying.

He was offensive and then got defensive when his careless words struck a nerve with a woman in therapy for DV. If he wasn’t offensive he was willfully insensitive with his words.

By saying he would feel weak going to therapy was in a roundabout way calling her weird. A lot of the older generation feel that way and a lot of them could use therapy. 😂
