Quick, good information, clear presentation. I've been looking at this arm for awhile but hesitant to pull the trigger for my LG 45GR95QE OLED as I just COULDNT find a video that would show the back clearly and the assembly. Was afraid the vesa plate wouldn't accommodate. Thanks brotha, cheers!

This was an absolutely excellent review! Your video editing was very clean, you chose clear angles to show the setup from a number of angles, and your audio (script and delivery) is top notch.

Just bought this for my Samsung M7 43” 👍🏼 Was a pain installing considering how big it is, had to screw the tension probably 10+ rotations so it’d raise/lower. No major complaints so far except for the cable cover screw thing you mentioned

Love the Barry white moves! Great video as well, seems like nobody makes videos like this anymore. My biggest challenge for my OCD/ADD-HD-A-Z, was figuring out where to position the arm for a 49" curve so when it's up and down, (No Punns Intened)😂🤣😅 its centered. . If you have a video about that, please advise. Until then it's cooked and off centered. I'm dying! 😁😂🤣

The only real difference between this and my 50 dollar arm is the fact that this has a much nicer tilt and pivot mechanism for the panel, mine just has a ball joint which is kinda finicky, I wish I could just lock the pivot so that the panel stays level.

That thing looks neat, a bit like the arm of a robot at an assembly line. It don't see any reason to buy this, though. I don't move my displays AT ALL so I just buy very cheap monitor arm which will hold my displays in place. The only reason I used a monitor ar at all is to save space on the desk and because it looks cleaner.

I have the same series of monitors just not the ultrawide version, did you unscrew the back plate on it and just use it to install the mount plate?
@visionarywatts2 жыл бұрын
I don't remember what came on the back of the monitor but yes, if something was there I removed it and used the VESA mount with the monitor arm
@groovyshrimp2 жыл бұрын
@visionarywatts yea it's like a plate that's on the back where you put the screws in, but it appears you took it off. Thanks!
@GoatzombieBubba Жыл бұрын
The LG 34GP83A-B has no back plate just 4 screws the arm that is attached to the base snaps into place covering the screws but since he unboxed it and installed the monitor arm plate he did not have to take the factory stand off just the 4 screws that LG installed.

Will this work for beveled edge desktop?
@visionarywatts2 жыл бұрын
I guess it depends on how deep the bevel is and if you have any flat thickness before the bevel drops off. A lot of the support is going to come from clamping it under the desk. But overall, I'm not sure.

@@yunjungham814 I’m never going to suggest buying something that doesn’t support the specs you have. Maybe this has bad clearance on the arms when you try to turn with a 49”? I say go with one within your dimension
