You guys talk about #5 being an advantage. That's exactly why ND accepted that they'll never get a top 4 spot and a bye. If they're a top 4 team, they get a bye during conference championship weekend and then get that home game against the lowest ranked playoff team. That's a huge advantage

I love this mentality that OU is the only team doing something new in the SEC this year. Those schools aren't used to playing us either, and the SEC schedule has finally made the lie come true, about the SEC gauntlet. You don't get to skip playing teams for a decade any longer. SEC fans insist Auburn and Tennessee are basically Alabama Light, but OU has won the last three games against those two schools, so we aren't particularly scared of them. Even Alabama, OU won 3 out the last 4 meetings. SEC fans think its SEC, then the rest; reality is that its blue bloods, then the rest.
