This is an experiment in many ways but the main point is I have all this research and curation done, but even with making lists full time for a whole year I can't turn it all into highly edited videos. I'm just one person. All this information is sitting around, so I figured I should at least just tell you it all? Let me know if you found this useful. If you want to support the channel, buy games using this GOG referral link: af.gog.com/?as=1715648857 Thank you!

45:23 looks like PlayWay is the franchise, little further down page shows Franchise on rightside of steam page (near visit website) Sounds like steam should have Franchise up there in top section with Dev and Publisher.

I've been watching you since Salem, and Populous 3 days. I've always loved your High Quality lists, however I do love this too, just you being you in a raw unedited format is very VERY refreshing. You do great Zahk. Through and through we see you're passionate about this. Just do what's comfortable for you.

honestly, quite a useless video. I like to get experiences on the games from other players, even if they only played it for a short time. If you are just listing stuff from the steam page, that is a useless video, because thats the same info i can pull of the steam page by just looking into all the games that have that genre tag.

As many others have pointed out, this format of showcasing upcoming games are absolutely fine. Still had a good and professional look and we got a feel/look at them which is the main purpose. Keep up the good work Zakh, been following you and your lists for several years. Hoping to continue that for many more years to come.

As much as I enjoy the edited versions of these videos I don't think there is anything wrong with this style, in the end I got recommendation for loads of upcoming games so both works in my opinion. No reason why not to continue in this style in the future as well :)

Not every game even deserves a lot of time invested into talking about, this video shows so many potentially good games and if someone wants to they can explore more about games they found in here that they seem to maybe like. I would never find some of these games searching myself on steam because some of them wont even show up unless you dig down to the bottom of the list in the store and there is so many games. Because of this channel I found more then few good games and im about to check on some from this video as well. Thank you!

Don’t mind the new format, you’re still talking about the games in the same way as before. Kind of fun to see you talking about the games. I do believe Enshrouded might release in about a year as they say, there’s been a few major updates this year already.

I have to say, it doesn't matter. Thanks to your channel I discovered many hidden gems that otherwise would get submerged by "more popular" ones on Steam. If you have to sacrifice editing for the sake of more information, I would choose the latter. After all, no matter the editing, I really like your way to convey informations and opinions. So keep up the good work, however you can!

I got The Last Plague: Blight when it released some months ago because I found the demo quite impressive and intriguing with the top-down perspective, it's updated very regularly and a lot of the bugs I've noticed at the start have been patched out already. The building system is quite nice mechanically for such a small title, but it's supposed to be more in the realistic side of things, so be prepared to collect a ton of stuff to get things going.

MY idea of multiplayer is - ! player with 9, 20, 30 bots to command., in HUGE battles. Thus 10 players per side will have up to 600 units in battle. Seems a cool idea and negates the not-enough players problem.

For what its worth, some of my genre descriptors w/r/t survival Survival/Crafting (or Survival/base-building) like Minecraft, Conan Exiles, etc. This seems to be the most common type these days Survival/Story (or Survival/Narrative), like the Amnesia games, Outlast, and so forth Survival/Management (though I also call them base management), such as Dwarf Fortress, RimWorld and such. Also, going to say it. Steam review of 69% should be 'Nice'

@@GamerZakh I'm not OP, but I'm curious. Why? I assume the algorithm prefers it?
@GamerZakhАй бұрын
@@giga27beast82 Hey no probs! The 'algorithm' these days is now more based on psychology and behaviour rather than any kind of data and programming, so what works or doesn't really just depends on what people like or not. But besides that, there's a bunch of reasons why someone would put a facecam on: 1. For the majority of viewers, they prefer seeing the streamer and statistically people watch for longer when there is a facecam. People feel more connected to the creator when they can see a face. It's not necessary, but an entire industry has evolved with V Tubers and other 'cartoon characters' to be a 'face' on videos. Consider Spiffing Brit, he doesn't use a facecam but does have his character that he uses and various illustrations. 2. The video of a person is part of the communication and entertainment. Voice actors have such a tough job because they can't express anything visually, it all has to be with their voice. By having a facecam, you can communicate more emotions with facial expressions, gesture with hands, point at things, pose for things, etc. This is part of the presentation. Think of it like a teacher in a classroom. Is the teacher just in the way of the whiteboard? Or is the teacher's physical presence part of the experience? 3. Representation. One of the most common insults I get is that my "face is weird". It's because I don't have a 'standard' look, so a lot of people are caught offguard when they see my face and express discomfort, curiosity, or just hate. The more I show my face, the more 'normal' it becomes and this helps not just my own life experience but also those who have similar heritages as I do.
@giga27beast82Ай бұрын
Thank you for your extensive answer. I appreciate the effort! Also, I am sorry people insult you that way. I know how it feels though.. No one deserves that, but I guess it comes with the territory as a content creator. I look forward to more content from you!
@petejams7340Ай бұрын
Not a fan of watching steam pages for an hour and a half. I can look up steam pages myself. If you want to cover breadth and , perhaps a podcast is a better format? Also generative ai tools can help summarize and edit videos based on prompts.
@GamerZakhАй бұрын
I mean, this video exists as is or not at all. But you'd prefer this exact same content as a podcast? You can minimise the tab and just have audio and you got a podcast. And if I use AI, people just complain about AI. People can tell when it's AI.
