Today I am super excited were taking a look at what I might class the Perfect Class C ( if someone is trying to stay under 30ft ) This is the 2020 Entegra Coach Esteem 27U. There is so many reasons why I love this motorhome.. But this motorhome measures at 29'11'' and it give your a Sofa and a Dinette with a King Size Bed and a huge shower / bathroom... Also it has AUTO LEVELING thats amazing on a small Class C oh snap! Also it has 2 AC Units!

I have a Thor Quantum KW29 with this same king bed. It's a small price to pay to get a to-die-for king bed.....and mine has a stackable washer and dryer and theater recliners which face the dinette where the TV is above the dinette so you are watching TV right in front of you.....

Minor Dislikes: 1. Fold-up bed 2. TV placement - but I understand it's the best placement possible 3. Oven - I'd rather have more storage Likes: 1. Bunk area - holds 750 lb; nice storage for guests 2. 2 A/C units 3. Outdoor tv Matt and Andrea, we love you guys! We have just been bitten by the RV bug, and your videos have been so helpful. D; almost looked a bit cramped in drivers area; missing under cabinet lights over cooktop (luxury should mean full light over entire surface); folding bed, my wife is the same about napping.

We bought this exact model in May 2020. Went out just about every weekend thru October. We love it! Pull a 2013 Honda CRV. Great walk-thru tour. Lack of counter space is our only complaint but we still manage to cook up some great meals. The kitchen table gets used as additional counter space quite often.

I'm a frequent viewer from Australia and thoroughly enjoy your reviews. Just a thought on showers; although not ancient, my wife and I are getting on, and so really like shower stalls in which there is a built-in seat, and enough space to use it comfortably and not feel cramped. That's one of the things we look for in a prospective motor home. That, and a king-size bed, of course. Cheers from downunder!

I love the cab over bunk with that star gazer window. I actually love the kitchen, it has a stove under the range, a convection microwave and that little extension with what I saw was a plug under the extension. Great place for an instant pot. I hate to vent those under a counter top and they are one of the greatest cooking devices. Love that bathroom. Love the cab. Love the full body paint, bumper, ladder, rear view cameras. Love that back storage. Love the LP capacity. Love the two AC units with a 30 AMP hook up. Love that it is just under 30 feet. The only dislikes would be folding mattress, better hope that it is a comfortable mattress as you cannot replace it with a residential one. Also change the sofa to a theater seat please and I know the size does come with constraints but the T.V. placement up front on that swivel is no bueno. So I guess based on my likes versus dislike this may be the full time RV coach me and the wife are looking for!

For Andrea: Give your back time to heal. Rest is the 1st step to recovery. The paint might be expensive but trying to keep a white RV clean is difficult especially as it ages.

I love paint, interior before and after slide out and the size and design of the bathroom. I don't like (but I'd still buy it) the small exterior storage compartments, the placement of the forward TV and folding bed (doesn't really matter, but I couldn't really think of 3).

Great review! Love that Andrea is such a part of things now. Dislikes: Folding bed, position of shower head (positioned on the sink side would make more sense) and assuming that the front seats don't swivel. Likes: fridge, size and usability of the bath, 2 ac units.

And just a thought.... My last RV salesperson said that windshield in the bed area of the Class C will leak. It's only a matter of time. I love the natural lighting, but wouldn't buy one if these units because I believe it will leak. Looking to upgrade to a small Class A....

What I like 1. I like how there is a TV on the overview 2. There is a king size bed and also enough beds for my household. 3. There's a over/stove and microwave What I don't like 1. We just purchased this model. The folding bed was holding me back a little bit, but then we realized that because there’s only going to be two of us traveling almost 100% of the time if we need to stop somewhere where we can’t open the slides there is still the couch which is very comfortable and the bunk over the cab for us to sleep in.

This unit has changed my opinion of this type of camper. I would change the bed to a twin size and I would change the frig to a 12v freezer and a 12 frig. But I love this unit overall.

Sapphire Sword - This coach is a Ford, almost at the weight limit. A few bucks more for a super C w a semi chassis and it will last 10 times longer and go ten times further, w less breakdowns. This is a HD pickup pulling it’s maximum weight every day of its life. This is a cruel joke on whomever buys this thing.

I like prep for solar, plus the exterior plumbing. Larger dining windows and dual AC. You can get rid of the swirl striping, TV viewing is questionable, limited counter tops, warning stickers stuck to kitchen walls are uncalled for. But Entraga RV's have peaked my interest. Nice job!

Great video Matt. My comments: For about the same price the Thor Quantum 29KW also gives you a king bed (set-up looks identical to the one you are showing) but the Thor has a stackable washer and dryer and theater recliners and the storage area under the dinette area has pull-out drawers so you don't have to remove the seats to access the storage area..... The washer and dryer and recliners are fantastic. Plus, the Thor has a 6yr delamination warranty and 12 on the roof. The Thor also has the TV over the dinette so that when you sit in the recliners you can watch the TV directly in front of you and not off to the side as in the model you demonstrated.

Not quite a fair comparison. The KW29 starts at $151K with no options while this one is low $130s comparably equipped. This model has the full body paint, which adds about $8K (and adds $9K on the Thor). This one also has the 12 cu ft fridge upgrade. You are right though, it is a very similar floorplan. The kitchen faces the other way and at least the Thor has an option for theater seats which the Esteem 27U does not have for some reason (the only Esteem model without that option).

@@johnminnott7334 I am disabled. There are other makers of coaches with wheelchair lifts, mostly custom builders, but Newmar has five models in their lineup designed for use by the disabled. I personally have a converted school bus that was built with a lift.

Glad you did a video of this model. I was going to email you. I like the following. 1) King Bed in a Class C. 2) Bathroom size 3) Window in the Bathroom. I don't like. 1) the location of the TV. 2) Side Window Valance Panels in the bedroom windows. Keeps the light out and gives you more privacy. 3) Window as a headboard in the bedroom.

Matt, I just bought a class A 32 foot motor home. I still like the class C. I like the turns better on the class A. My likes on the Entegra 1, I like the bedroom storage, 2, I really like the 30"x 36" shower. This is better than my class A. My dislike is limited, 1, outside storage, 2, inside kitchen storage, 3, I would want a residential refrigerator. This is a very nice motor home with a great price.

I love this. I am new to all this. My husband and I just sold our business and retired. We are thinking about RV instead of another smaller home. I would like to travel and see what we like and where we like. Your videos really have helped me see what is out there. I love that it is under 30 ft. I would really prefer smaller but don't want to give up a bedroom. I love that the awning has a motion sensor I love the bathroom but wished there was something to block the view to bed when guests walk to the bathroom. I love everything about bunk area. Likes: everything about the bathroom, windows by the bed for cross ventilation, by having the split bed your able to have a nice walk around bed without adding extra length to the coach. Dislikes: Window in the cabover (has the potential for leaks), position of microwave, would be to much in your face while using the range, large fridge (would prefer storage instead). Great video!

I have never understood why no manufacturer doesn't realize when someone needs to rinse themselves or even just their feet then walk around the unit to the door possibly getting their feet dirty or even muddy (depending on conditions) now what walk the other way around and try again that to me is short sighted or maybe the engineer or designer has never been camping beyond a parking lot

Somehow the kitchen counter space always seems to be compromised unless you shift your game above 40 ft and 300K mark. Maybe it's possible to make them larger in smaller RV's. Just need to figure out something with layout changes. I believe that may be possible with some clever and ingenious design concepts. :)

Usually you are parked at a site when napping in which case the slide out is already out but it only takes 15 sec to extend the slide. I have a Thor Quantum KW29 which looks much like this unit but the Thor has stackable washer and dryers and theater recliners and a king bed. The theater recliners have seat belts and when fully extended you can nap in them. Also, in the Thor the 39" TV sits above the dinette and you can extend the recliners and watch the TV which is right in front of you....NOT off to the side as in most other Class C's which tends to give you a still neck or headache....

I luv this motor home. It’s beautifully done. I agree with you about the hinges on the cabinets , they should be hidden. I’m not crazy about the fold up bed. The dinette storage could be slide out drawers. I love the shower and bathroom over all. The kitchen is nice too. I luv the paint job on the outside cause it makes the motor home look classy. I love that it’s 30 feet.

1) Way too small TV over the cab. 2) Two AC units on 30 amp. (can you run anything else, at the same time?) 3) fold up mattress. Matt, does the front skylight have an interior shade cover? I do like the paint color and the wet bay on the rear driver's side.

you guys are absolutely the BOMB! We have a family Band of 7( mom, dad and 5 children) and we are in the market for something that's not overwhelmingly gargantuan under 100K with great storage for our wardrobe and equipment for touring and camping.

If you want storage, class A is for you. Most Class C's don't have that much room......they have a lot of exterior storage compartments but they're small and not too good for storing large equipment. Class A's have huge side storage.

Have this camper in Jayco version - very similar with pretty much same interior. - Should have better fan in bath - took mine out and added Maxair fan with remote. Bedroom slide covers the electrical panel when in - i had to cut off bit of paneling and make that work as was catching when sliding in. Gas tank a bit of a challenge to fill at times - have to make sure the passenger side is a bit lower than the drivers side to get the pump to not shut off. Overall very happy with this motorhome - have about 3000 miles on it so far really enjoying it. Drives great!

I like the 27U because it's just the right size, not too big and not too small. Nice to have the dinette as well as the sofa!! 750lb bunk is great too and the window in the bathroom is nice to have as well... doesn't feel so claustrophobic. Would like to purchase a new one.... but pretty hard to find one these days without having to pay for the pandemic shortages!!

I’d never have thought about it before, but when I’m at the Austin RV show this weekend, I’ll be doing the “P” test for sure....I may get some odd looks when I’m sitting on the potty, swinging my knees and elbows around checking for space, but I’m with you, sitting on an uncomfortable pot can ruin your day.

I show dogs. I like that it looks like the whole dinette could come out and there aren’t cabinets over the dinette so would fit more crates. I wish you would tell the dimension of the dinette space. And that bathroom is awesome!

Really like this RV! A few changes - I would go for a Queen bed so you didn't have to slide out when driving and no folded bed; add W/D; half the outside design job, I find it too busy; bigger TV; and larger kitchen pop-up table. MSRP is a bit much.

This is a great rig. I'm going to get one. Yeah, the fold-up bed is a pain, but you have a couch for someone to lay down on as you go down the road. And the E-450 on this size rig is very good.

I have the Thor Quantum KW29: it has a king bed, stackable washer and dryer and theater recliners and the TV is mounted over the dinette so when you are in the recliners you are looking directly at the TV in front of you, not off to the side as in almost all other Class C's. It also has drawers under the dinette that pull out. It doesn't utilize all the area under the dinette but it's easier to access the storage area.

Likes and dislikes - I mostly agree with you two, but I'm not bothered by the bed. The fold is where your legs rest, not at your hips or back. I agree with Andrea the kitchen could have a little more counter space. I'd like it better if there were slide out trays under the seats. Pulling the cushions off and lifting a cheap piece of plywood is hokey for this quality of motorhome.
