I gave them this idea like 5 years ago back when the ideastation was still a thing. It was accepted within a month and took 4-1/2 years to implement. But I’m so glad they finally did!!! I can now update my model parameters and just go into CAM and 90% of the time, just hit regenerate on my setups and I’m good to start machining! I use them for circular and linear pattern instances mainly.

yeah, welcome to autodesk 😕we use inventor and inventor cam for work. CAM hasn't had any of the features that fusion has had added in the last ~5 years, despite having an identical core

@@crashfactory also welcome to hsm for solidworks. I have heard it from the mouth of their salespeople, they want Solidworks HSM and I would assume Inventor HSM, to become legacy products that push users towards fusion.

You said "as always, hope you learned something". Well, as always, yes I did. Thank you

Great update, but for it to really sing, they need to make the Parameters accessible from within the Manufacture workspace.

@therealtony I use a .001. A simple edge break is perfect. What do you mean debur?

Might work well when using template files, that way the parameters always live in that file.

The only good feature in Confusion 360, is the off switch.
