It is, once again, the elitists who determine what art is. With great irony, this is how impressionism began; it was a direct attack against the establishment and organizations that determined what was acceptable and what is not. Creativity cannot survival in an environment that places great value on political statement than on a person's true vision and talent. The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) is a prime example. It is the intelligentsia's collection. It attracts people, but only because society has been told by the intelligentsia that this is what art is. Don't believe the lies. There is an actual men's graffitied urinal on display and praised as great art. Sorry, but this does not even compare to Vermeer or Bosch. We are all being lied to.

Some good stuff coming up this year. I can't help think that the movie tap has been turned on and all the movies made during the pandemic are being let out of the bag in this the first clear year for theatre goers. Suits me! The title though is wrong - more thought could have gone into it. Science Fiction is where events or devices we see could occur soon or in the future, i.e. quite possible. Science Fantasy is when things are techy but alas are just too out there to be even a remote possibility Then there's Fantasy where people can do amazing things with their minds or actions and improbable futuristic devices do stuff that belie science and could never be explained and never try. I rate Star Wars as Fantasy in a universe where mind powers can do . . . well almost anything as is any Transformer movie. I rate Star Trek as Science Fiction but they occasionally cross over to Science Fiction Fantasy. I rate The Expanse as pure Science Fiction. Most of the trailers here are for Fantasy movies - no where near Science Fiction and it irks me no end that the poster who put this compilation seems to have no idea what is Sci Fi and what is Fantasy and worse will read this and say, who cares? I expect Millennials to get it wrong because more and more folk are getting it all mixed up, not care or can't be told. So sad. Now, where's my popcorn?

Yes, one of my faves - so many interesting story arc to investigate but didn't pull enough viewers in the US. Unfortunately as can be seen here there are still many intelligent people in our idiocracy but if not enough Norms watch a series it gets canned. Not big-noting myself it's just that I like the more purer forms of Sci Fi and a lot of this stuff just isn't. Never watched GoT not because it was fantasy, I love a good fantasy movie, but because it was just a blood and gore tale top to bottom, left to right it killed the ratings. So yeah, depravity and human-made horror tales will never stop being popular because the majority of humanity haven't got past caveman principals yet.

I've made my mind up on Avatar 2 also. The Earthlings were given the bums rush from Pandora but here they are back in #2 and already build train transport systems that Pandorans can now destroy; not while they were being build mind you but later when stuff is being transported. Come on Cameron, WTF are Earthlings doing back on Pandora FFS?! But M3gan nah just Chucky with a robotic brain and a faulty one at that lol.
