Does it let any light out at night? Wondering about how stealth it is. Thanks for the instruction. I am still researching a van build.

No. I was actually very surprised to see how you can’t even tell the light is on inside at night. My only concern would be lack of insulation but that can be easily fixed with an insulated insert.

Like the idea, but is this a prototype? Or final product? looks a little small compared to the actual cutout. Why didn't they make the wondow bigger? What are those 2 little plastic bump on the outside?

It’s a final product. The link can be found on the description. As far as the size I don’t think it can be much bigger than this. Maybe an inch or so because of the frame of the van. It’s plenty of light and since it’s rectangular it’s also super easy to frame later on. As far as the plastic parts I am guessing you are referring to the handles to open and lock each window.

they are flat. Finishing the windows is probably easier with flat

You want ventilation in a van. With a maxxair fan and an open window you can create great ventilation!

Can the windows be opened while driving?

Yes you can. we open them all the time to get some ventilation. That's one of the main reasons why we went with these and also all the built in features.
