As I listen my question is can I use my RV 5th wheel latch, is there regs on which setup is required? I do like the ease of pulling a handle to drop the trailer, like the big boys. We have a 2019 Ford F-350 XLT Super Duty with a BigTex 16GN 25+5MR. The GVWR for trailer is 14,500 and truck is 11,500. The curb weight with a full tank of diesel/DEF, equipment, luggage, etc. is 15,880. We don’t have an auxiliary fuel tank or toolbox.

Have a dually truck 10,500 trailer I was told from the person I bought it from was 20,000 we are going to derate it to either 12,000 or 14,000 for non cdl. Now you guy's where giving out the numbers for the gvwr and the weight you can put on the trailer. Are those number for N.Y. state also or from another state.
