More games on the quest 2 I would recommend is Pavlov shack for it's funny moments and good gameplay, and onward VR for it's *usually* strategic and tactic based combat

I play PCVR all day long on my Quest 2. And the best thing is that it's wireless instead of the Index's long cable (this is a huge advantage in room scale or any experience were you turn around a lot, like most first person shooters or similar). It costs 2,5 times less than the Index and I can bring it with me if I want to watch movies or TV series on a movie teater sized screen when I travel or even just lying in my bed. I can bring it to friends and family and show them VR, even PCVR if I leave my computer at home on and connect to it through the internet or shadow play (if you don't own a gaming computer). Index has four advantages over Quest 2: 1. 30° wider field of view. 2. 144hz (requires a stronger gaming PC) vs Quest 2's 90hz 3. You have to mount external IR lights (known as base stations) and that is a hassle, but it will give you better hand tracking and allow you to track your hand controllers the few times you try to manipulate something behind you (outside of the field of view of the Quest's 4 cameras (this doesn't happen very often)). 4. Index controllers are superior and allow for better finger tracking than the Quest 2 controllers.

If you get virtual desktop it opens up the quest to all the pc games. Played most of Alyx using wireless and it was great.

@@PLightstar last question bro, do you think the 2060 super would be a decent gpu, at least to start with? Or should I go with the 5700xt? I'm doing my first budget build, and the 2060 super is pretty cheap, but the 5700xt isn't much more considering that its supposed to be compared to the 2070 Super from what I understand, but I've been told the 2060 super is a great GPU to start with, so I'm on the fence with them haha

Nice actions ! snap... I still somehow do not have any strong feelings to buy this game... ;-) I like Pavlov (when everything working) it reminds me a fast shooting in small range from Q3Arena. I can kind of have some fun in Contractors (but visuals downgrade just kill this game almost) , and somehow... on the side how much gamers like POPone... I still can`t force myself to buy it xD ... even if its fun to watch ;-) Cheers!

Don’t forget to get side-quest so you can get virtual desktop to play your PCVR steam games wireless also. I just wish Valve would give a wireless option for the index already. Cause goddam do I like the index controllers better. Not a fan of Quest touch controllers at all.

yeah i will never switch to a standalone vr unit because the hardware isnt even close to what my enthusiast pc has in it and if i already prefer powerful computers and custom builds i might as well go with the best pc vr unit , facebook is only selling a bunch of those dumpster fire headsets because ppl are stuck at home right now and got government money to waste lol otherwise they wouldn't be selling them like they are.. plus the standalone controllers feel like the were literally built for a kids hands .. knuckles controllers all day haha im with you D index for life hahaha or at-least until someone comes out with an even better pc vr units :) next we need 244hz screens for each eye haha
