I didn't know Mike Lang had passed. I knew him from Woodstock. He and a friend of mine were eating strawberry tarts and drinking coffee in Deanie's the night before it burned down. The Lake, Deanie's, the Tinker Street Cafe, and later on, Albert's Black Bear Cafe were all favorite haunts.
