Just finished watching the whole series. I think Claudia Black's acting was ultimately the most outstanding factor in the experience. Her facial expressions in the really poignant moments were so authentic as to be moving. And I am not all that easily moved. Well done.

That line was borrowed from the John Wayne western “Rio Lobo”. Jack Elam’s character is shooting at someone who is way out of range for his coach gun, someone asks him why he’s shootings cause he’s never going to do any good at that range, and he says “makes me feel better “.

FarScape is still one of my all time favorite sci-fi series and Aeryn Sun was a big reason it was so good. I remember when it first aired there was a print ad for it showing her sitting on top of Ben Browder's character, it was from the pilot. The caption was; "Aeryn Sun likes it rough". Probably never get away with that today.
