The man, the myth. Dev Pandya, Paradox, or in the case of this video, Alaska, is an absolute master of dissecting apart breaks, giving us some truly unique, stunning and timeless rhythms. A master of the jungle art, he often teams up with the legend Seba to bring us some heavyweight collaborations. His own label Arctic Music harvests his collection, showcasing his masterpieces curated over more recent times, this mix features pieces mostly from his Alaska alias, with one of two pieces from his Paradox alias also. On the final day of one of the coldest months, here's a handful of my favourite tunes from the mighty Alaska.

I think I've listened to it all: Marvelous Cain, Paradox, Bizzy B, Goldie, Tom & Jerry, Source Direct, Dom & Roland, Om Unit, Photek, the list goes on -- Alaska truly has the best ambient soundscapes in his jungle music. I always find myself rebounding back to his sound. I wish there were more artists as creative as Alaska.

After trawling through KZbin, what I'm particularly impressed with is that you could play one of his tracks from 1998 and one from 2017, and not be able to tell which came first. His style is rock solid.
