Arnold is *the* man. No one has looked better or as good since, or before. Steroids (which were perfectly legal at the time he took them) have relatively little to do, overall, with his physique. They provide an edge but don't give you the bulk of your muscle mass. He got that body though good genes and incredibly hard work. He's a true modern hero and role model who's conquered every task he's put his mind to.

Arnold is the king of bodybuilders. He had symmetry, proportion and massiveness. Today bodybuilders don't have the symmetry and proportion and instead they try to become so massive that they look like bloated mutants. I wonder what bodybuilders will look like about 100 years from now?

@longtallysally jack lalanne invented a bunch of the machines you see in all of our gyms, and he himself said he doesn't use them. You can't sell people stuff they don't need, so you need to make them believe they need it. In reality. you can craft an amazing body with nothing more than a weight vest.

@valgez From what you said it seems like whoever takes steroids is a winner. But reality proves that it's not that. You could take steroids but work out half ass at the gym and you won't get the results Arnold did. PLus genetics of course. Arnold had an amazing body because he trained extra hard. Harder than most people do at the gym these days. Steroids helped, but from what you are saying that's not the only reason he got where he did.

i wonder, where he bought his pants back then. he had/has amazing legs. i kinda have the problem, being a sportive person, that my legs a pretty big, but my waist is regular sized. so i only can wear loose fit jeans, otherwise they don't fit my legs. if i take em the right size for my legs, the are at least to sizes to big on the waist...;(
