Although I do kind of wish he'd do away with that crappy GameStation & get back to using real hardware again. A device like that doesn't exactly scream "Gamer". Whenever I see one of those types of devices I always think well that person doesn't take their retro games very seriously.

I've been picking up a lot of NES and Gene's games (some SNES or, more often Super Famicom games = cheaper, I filed down the tabs in mys SNES 😉), and always clean them before testing, and even then, some don't work. I keep them to try to fix one day. I just got an NES on Ebay with the Blinking Light Win mod... it works great, but won't let go of the Super Mario Bros. game it came with! 🤣

@@scramblesthedeathdealer I hear ya, & that's fine if you want to play that way yourself, but for a KZbin show I think it's a good idea to show off the original consoles don't you think? Besides, Emulation just isn't going to cut it for me personally. I wouldn't be caught dead playing on one of those things myself. Far too much added lag & other issues. If I'm not going to play on orignal hardware then it has to be something FPGA based like the MISTer or the Analogue consoles. I own every single console Analogue has made and they are fantastic! I also have a MISTer as well and it is truly mindblowing what it can do.

Ya know what, maybe I'm not with the times on how to keep a hot wife around, but if I was working my ass of every day at two jobs providing for the family, and my wife had a problem with some hobby of mine or where I keep the video games in the house or some other such nonsense, there would be a problem. Just sayin'. Again, maybe I am not with it when it comes to how to keep a hot one around, but I just wouldn't be able to help myself. What's right is right. If you're the one out there workin' yer ass off for the family every day then you deserve to put your video games wherever you damn well please.
