Hitler was not agains Art that is not german, he just disliked all styles which where not the one type he liked, which was realism. He disliked litteraly all mordern arts like: expressionism, surrealism, daism, cubism because they "spawn form sick minds." so they called them degenerate arts. While he called all (the one or thwo) styles he liked as "german art" meant as proper art, not meaning they had to come by germans, he used the word german as the "right" so the "right arts" .
