La Graça monastery was open to the public long time ago. At 7:47, you said that it was opened only 3 years ago, but I visited inside the monastery back in 1997. Love your video series of Lisboa and Portugal. Gracias

Oh wow! Really? Our guide told us the convent had never been open to the public before (the church was open, but not the convent), and when I got back home I googled it and indeed found many articles talking about when it was first open to the public, after a 17-year long process. There are many articles in the Portuguese media like this one www.dn.pt/sociedade/segredos-do-convento-da-graca-revelam-se-a-cidade-8605008.html, explaining the opening that first happened in 2017. I guess you were very lucky to see it even before many Portuguese people 😉. All the best!

While searching for informational videos of Lisbon, I came across your videos. I'm loving them all!!! You are so knowledgeable...Definently done your hw. 👍👍 I'm planning a short trip to Lisbon in the summer, and I just can't wait. 💗😝😝 I know you've broken your videos in several vlogs, but how long was your actual trip? Im trying to take in all your suggestions so I could pack all your sites in just 3 short days.

Hello Jacqui. 3 days would be rushing it in my opinion. We spent 6 days. Remember, we don't do trips like a vacationer as we are on the go, filming and then back to the hotel to capture the images and review. If all you can do is 3 days then maybe I suggest skip Sintra as there is so much to do in Lisbon. Note, we also did not go into museums and we would much prefer to try more restaurants in the evening if not for work and cafes in the morning. Even at 3 days, you will love the city. Summer weather is perfect and the city will be buzzing with all the tourists. Enjoy!!!

I wish I could remember...but we took several turns on the narrow streets. I think if you ask people were very friendly and help. Cash only. We arrived at opening hour which was 9am summer time. Check as it varies thru out the year.
