Drum beating is an ART that comes from the heart and mind. Did you see those broken sticks and even one Drummer used his hands to beat the drum? Life is hard as we know but dances like these breathe some hope into our living standards Dinka Bor. We never fail to entertain ourselves when we have the chance and it MUST continue that way. Our traditional songs are our image in this ever-changing World and we MUST maintain that.

Every good culture is maintained by those who perform. Thank you for that performance. Stay safe and always be kind to yourself and those around you, but never forget to pray because our countries on Planet Earth need a few prayers a day. Covid19 is taking lives and breaking hearts across the globe and now is the time to unite as a people. There is no more room for stupidity and wars. Thank you for that beautiful music. I used to dance back in Kakuma Refugee Camp before I came to Canada. A great culture like ours has to be promoted for the good of our people and the Mankind across the globe. Why? Because when you listen, you understand and when understand, you know and knowledge is what built empires and nations. Do not let greed take our human beauty away. Just be you, be kind and stay safe.

That is the beauty our Dinka Culture. We sing good songs that inspire love and kindness. It doesn't matter if others want to twist them for thy own flavour.

Our Dinka Culture never rest...please keep on posting. Why, because we're Dinka Bor...and we may have a message to the World after we get re-organised, maybe in 2021/2022...but only God knows....keep on hoping my people and always respect yourselves. Why? Because no one is going to respect you unless you do.

Asante nyako(sister). Kudual and may God bless you. Our Dinka people have suffered long enough....and now is the time to unite South Sudan and teach our children to carry our flag. Jealousy and greed do not make a nation, kindness, unity, respect, and co-operation drive results for a prosperous nation.

I read in the Dinka History, a book written by Professor Lewis Anei, he said in his book that the Luo, Nuer, and the Dinka were all part of the Kush Empire, we were all in the present day Egypt at that time before the Empire was defeated by the Empire from Ethiopia, and were forced to leave that area after the defeat. We are all one people. Means of transportations kept us apart and the people who were ruling us wanted that way. The war of Liberation introduced tribes in South Sudan to each other, we didn't know each other then, and various Khartoum Regimes kept it that way to make sure we don't unite and arise against their system. We used to learn about some tribes in songs. Even though, Dinka people are cattle keeper, they praised people they encountered in songs when they returned back to their land, Dinka people have habit of praising people on what they do well. Many Dinka great musicians praised Acholi in their songs. They sing about Acholi beautiful girls after they put their customs together, beads and so on before the dance. So they would compare a beautiful girl from Acholi to a beautiful girl they are in love with. You hear great wrestlers from the Nuba Mountain, and Lutoko in their songs, and so on. Any time they encountered people from other tribes, they find what they do well and put that in their songs. So I learned about some tribes in South Sudan and Sudan in their songs.

This is how our thoroughbred men look and act like. You got to adore them because weakness inside and outside of our hearts could weaken our house(...meaning South Sudan). Be kind, be you and always carry the flag proudly, wether you are in South Sudan or in Diaspora because we are the children of South Sudan..

We, the Dinka Bor, are just here to build our Little World...even if no one cares, I hope we can all work hard for to improve our standards on the Global stage. What "Little World"? Our songs and Lyrics have travelled and in 5 years times, our Dinka Bor music and songs shall be sang all over the World.

Let the haters talk because the Dinka Bor Culture will always rule. Brother John Garang died for us to upen ur eyes and see the future...and the future is clear....a future full of greed and instability...and that is not the future great leaders want.
@cholakuany59894 жыл бұрын
We are the Dinka Bor of South Sudan and we are here to stay, just like Dr. John Garang said....we must coexist because Sudan is a big country. We may have over 60 tribes but that does not mean that ....Adol mama ...Adolchirik kept on running away from agumut, gur chiem ku gurwich? Adol always wander .....
@cholakuany59895 жыл бұрын
My Dinka people, our brother, Dr. John Garang de Mabior did not die for nothing. He died so that we, South Sudanese, could have peace, love and unity...A peace of mind our people needs but some of our leaders are exploiting it for self-greed, when we should be promoting South Sudan on the global stage.

This is a REAL DINKA BOR DANCE, not the white army. -Our Dinka language and culture shall never be lost in translation. Word like "Alokthok" shall be obeyed. Why? Because we are Dinka Bor and respect drives us. We need more children and since I'm too far away to marry, please forgive me, I want you to do it better. Our people, our women, our children, our men and our community....we deserves much better.

You nailed it. Our late Manut Bol was discovered harding goats in our great villages. That's the beauty of being a villager. You just let life take its course, eh. Thank for that wonderful comment. Stay safe and never forget to be kind to yourself and those around you. Why? Because great hearts and minds keep our planet in orbit. Covid-19 is just a visitor, but human beings are here to stay. Thank you for that comment because a simple 3 worded message can make a huge difference.

Our Dinka culture is beautiful and it sometimes unites us. However, we are just as stupid as other nations if not worst. Dr. John Garang fought for our independence to be free from Islamic Sharia Law held by the North. After we got our independence in July, 2011, we turned on to each other. Why?
