17 was decent. The only edition where players made diagonal runs hence it has a better realism than subsequent titles. First one on Frostbite I think too so it looked better than 16 and 15. I’d say 25 could learn a lot from FIFA 14, 15, 16 and 17 as these had the best gameplays

@@MarlonAnthony I converted to a PC gaming this year because of mods but even on console last night, FIFA 17-19 feels better than FC 24 and 25. Sucks you can’t get them on PC now. The AI was actually smart for player career mode. Fluid buildup play, no sliding around the pitch it is great.

For me, FIFA 17 is the BEST FIFA GAME EVER, I was a PES fan before that, but after testing FIFA 17, I never played PES again and I became an undisputed FIFA fan except that FC24 drives me crazy and makes me want to go back to PES but it's become Efootball which is even worse than EAFC.

Yes, the golden years of FIFA.... FIFA 11 to 17. That's the reason why i still play FIFA 16 and 17, and every team was still licensed. EA comes nowhere near with their Sports FC trash nowadays. Okay, the graphics are developed and they have more real stadiums. But only nice graphics doesn't make it a great football game for me.

Much more realistic than the new Fifa races 23 24 25 where you can run as fast as you can to score Goals and where the final score is 8-9 8-7 10-9 where the defence is too weak......Fifa Used to be much better than what we see now, yet Kids are still buying it and enjoying it.

Yeah we got two great football games that year. It's a modded broadcast camera angle that allows me to zoom and lower the height more.

Fifa 17 and Fifa 18 is far more more better than EA FC 24 in many condition, Gameplay, Body Shape (Ea FC too Skinny) , No "Ice Skating movement" Fifa 17/18 is more realistic movement than EA FC, Simple and realistic to do Set Piece (Corner Kick, Free Kick, Penalty)..

fifa 17 is ea FC 24 25 they have the same terrible engine that ruined football, aka sunset engine frostbite engine, everything in it looked yellow, it ruined movement as players stopped moving good and fast, started moving like paper, IN FIFA 17 ALTHOUGH IT WAS THE START OF THE DISASTER, it wasn't that bad compared to its sister that came after it. FIFA 16 it was actually better with gorgeous pitches, and good gameplay, the pitch used to sparkle it was so good and green.

I think the animations are lot more polished on 16, I think they tried to port everything over to Frostbite quickly and it shows, still the fundamentals of FIFA 17 are fantastic still!
