AK I’m glad that you included context for why Mays referred to Fields as nasty. Without the context he seems over the top. Funny, but over the top. With context, we can see that he was responding to her public insinuation that he was engaging in illegal activity. Suddenly that he would call her nasty doesn’t seem as outrageous or unfair as before. It’s actually a pretty modest response. A public official being called nasty is not nearly as publicly injurious as a public official being called a crook.
