Je l ai découvert hier dans le livre les bienveillantes un ds ss parle de la beauté de Couperin et de Rameau connaissant rameau je suis venu voir tout en lisant 1 ère écoute mais j aime bien rapide mais tout en gardant une finesse et une harmonie

Thank you for this! I think François Couperin was the best composer of his period. I like his Les Barricades Mystérieuses especially because it's so mellow and meaningful. Trivia fact! Did you know that François Couperin was a pen-pal of Johann Sebastian Bach?

I've always loved Couperin and Rameau. I've ver rarely heard any of Couperin's keyboard music played on a piano. It's wonderful. Les Baricades Mistérieuses was painfully slow for me though. Thanks for posting this. :-)

I have listened to almost all of Couperin on the harpsichord but I find this version shiny enough to not miss that instrument. Some people say if J. S. Bach had a piano would have happily played it instead of the harpsichord. 🙂
