You need to hear the You tube of George singing The Rumor mill at a live concert in 1983 I think. You don't see him but hear the singing. Some amazing low notes.

My understanding that George started doing the repeats on this himself and Kirk loved it.

On the "Land of Living" project there is a song called, "I Believe I Live for Him." George goes to the basement and then a little lower on that one. Check it out sometime.

@kevrobster if I remember right (in a cats reunion video on youtube) Kirk Talley said that he wrote the bass part for George on step into the water... which is probably why nobody can ever sing it quite as good as he did!

I think it probably is. I have about 90-95% of the songs recorded by the Cathedrals and George since 1981 and that is the lowest I have heard from him.
