I remember watching you play this. Creepiest part for me was when you finally got the elevator working and the door closed just in time on the charging Xenomorph. I think I stopped watching after the Xenomorph found the pirates...

I don't blame you for giving up. I can get why Alien fans like it, but when horror starts shifting to frustration due to the game's intentional design, that's the universal sign the devs screwed up. A good horror game knows how to never turn the player's fear into frustration. This isn't one of them to me. Why? Because the Alien's Adaptable AI is TOO random for its own good, and any gamer knows one thing that can kill a game fast is RNG because at that point it no longer matters how skilled or fast you are, RNG can screw you over and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. It's the reason I gave up.

You do get to a point where you trap the alien on a section of the ship and separate/eject it into space. You find the last record of your mother's message and continue through the ship. But the alien returns, then a problem occurs in a generator room and you discover a nest of dozens (maybe hundreds) of aliens. You eventually escape by separating yourself and the remaining crew in another vessel while dozens of aliens watch. In the ship you call out to the othe crew members but a final alien snuck on and corners you. It's about to strike and the game ends. Slightly paraphrased and some things missing but that's the jist of it.... Happy Halloween.
