Game grumps it's got me through some hard times in my life. I went blind in 2020. I couldn't do much so I would listen to game grumps and it brought me joy. My vision has improved a lot. I'm able to watch them now. My wife passed away in 2022. I went through a lot of depression. I had days when I wouldn't even get out of bed. Game grumps really helped. Thank you so much Dan and Arin for what you do

​@@SympleSymon okay i'm not great at chess or explaining, so bear with me lmao dan moved his queen up to a spot where no piece other than arin's king could capture it. if arin were to capture the queen with his king, he would have placed himself right in front of dan's bishop, and checkmated himself. if he didn't do anything, he would have lost his king to dan's queen anyway, so he was screwed no matter what. since the game thinks ahead and knows this, it just skipped showing those extra moves since there was no way out of them, and slapped him with a checkmate. hopefully that helped :)

It's the flatness with which the text is delivered combined with her dead fucken eyes and chipmunk cheeks that makes it peak comedy. The stillness of it.
