A year ago last week, we traveled to Delaware to research retirement near the Atlantic beaches. While unlike our California or Hawaiian beaches possessing greater natural splendor and surfing, Delaware remains somewhat affordable if one looks 20 minutes away from the sands. Your tour helps us see what the summer is like. I’ll be doing a dawn patrol or off season visits. Though our tastes and interests differ, I enjoyed the quality of writing and descriptions in your video. I’m subscribing to learn more about ghe mid-Atlantic states. Lastly, never pull your wife into the water. Invite her in for a swim and then run to meet her with a towel when she emerges from the water. All the women on the beach will be envious! 😉

I loved this feedback haha my wife is scared of cold water and eases her way in, taking so long. Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia are really nice states with good weather. Not too cold, not too hot with decent cost of living. We were doing the opposite and looking at the San Diego area

It seems Fenwick is considered the most quiet by a lot of people who visit and also my own experience just because you have Ocean City, Maryland just 15 minutes away which tends to be one of the most popular beaches on the East Coast.

What beach allows dogs during the summer? Thanks

Bethany, South Bethany, and Fenwick allow Dogs at all times as long as they’re on a leash. Fenwick being the more strict of the 3. Lewes, Rehoboth, and Dewey allow dogs in the early morning (until 8-930AM) or afternoon (from 530PM+). It varies depending on the beach. Normally they’re allowed at all times between Oct-April. But makes sense since the summer season is so busy.

No thanks myrtle, folly beach sc have nicer people, no toll roads, better food and its cheaper along with better weather
