I love how they portrayed Tifa and Aerith’s friendship in this game. Aerith never had friends, she said it herself (chapter 2 clocktower), she has been isolated by Shinra since birth. So her having this deep bond with Tifa is all the more beautiful… which is also equally devastating what happens at the end.. Tifa lost her bestfriend, she’s grieving deeper than anyone on the last scene, she barely even said a word…she’s just crying. and Cloud being unsympathetic doesnt help her at all. No wonder at the end scene, Tifa’s demeanor around Cloud has changed…She was always a Cloud apologist, meaning every BS Cloud does…she accepts and forgives… He literally almost killed her and she fell to a pool of mako, and the next scene, she’s like nothing happened, everything is fine… But when it came to Aerith’s death, Tifa did not say a word at all. Not. One. Word. to Cloud. I feel like in a way..she’s blaming Cloud for all this and I get her. She’s probably thinking…if only Cloud didn’t do this or that… Aerith would have still been with them.

Honest to god I adored how Zack was handled in this game. Every time a rendition of the price of freedom played I teared up ESPECIALLY when the white whispers save him from sepiroths

I've just this moment realised. Aside from the fact that Zack wears his sword blade-down as opposed to Cloud, he also uses way more kicks and punches in his combos. Use brings about wear, tear and rust.

Like what we got to Zack, but wish he had a few hours with him. He's hoping for the next game, wanted more gameplay segments. Honestly still have no idea what his role is supposed to be. Is he really alive or dead? None of it makes sense. Will worlds merge? Or are the devs trolling. Part of the reason to care for the reunion is bc of Zack. Possibly Aerith too, to bring her back.

I beat the game the yesterday and discovered this channel. I’m feeling depressed because of the ending and also, because the anticipation for rebirth to release and not only has it released, but now I’ve beat it. Feeling empty. I came across your reaction to chapter 14 and it was almost therapeutic and now watching this compilation is helping. Won’t lie though, it’s affecting me now that the game has come and gone and we have to wait 3-4 years for the next one.

This game was my dream game, Final Fantasy 7 changed my life when I saw your videos reacting to clouds trailer and many others in 2013 that was my introduction into this series. Rebirth was absolute perfection im so sad that it is over but I have to be happy that this project is even real. Absolutely nailed on all ends and I can’t be happier with what released. I love watching reaction videos and lemme tell you , watching Max Dood's entire gameplay of this definitely can feel like a marathon. This game has sooo many great moments and the developers to Square Enix - I bow to you for making this game so worth the wait. Here's the final chapters coming out in a few years from now with FF7-3. And here's to the kickers soundtrack. I'm gonna be honest, Rebirth got my style of musics here, way to bring justice to the OG soundtrack and elevating my ears!

I’m glad I was able to watch all the way through the streams! It was such a pleasure watching you play and experiencing the game for the first time with you. I still don’t see how anything can top this for GotY 2024. Any other year I’d say “We need to wait and see what else releases this year for any surprises” but this honestly feels like it can’t be topped this year. I was thinking of finding the moments I loved most and posting timestamps, but there’s so many that honestly I’d say to anyone else reading this just watch this entire video. Alright I finally have the timestamps. Some moments/reactions that I liked didn't make it in (understandable since you don't want the video to be too long), but of the ones that made it in, these are my favorites. (Also, I'm dividing my comment into two parts since I had a lot more commentary than I expected on each moment.) Prologue: All of it. I was not expecting the game to open up that way and it threw me for a loop. It also started the running gag of never expecting the story to switch over to Zack's side when it does. Skipping Chapters 1-3. There were some cool moments in those, but they were mostly side quest stuff which doesn't feel as relevant here. Chapter 4: 22:04 - From anticipating the return of Roche to the confirmation that he's back. 25:30 - Realizing what was happening with Yuffie in this segment. 26:34 - The first fight with Roche and the visible reaction to the music. 29:18 - The farewell to the 7th squad. Chapter 5: 32:11 - The smack talk to Regina followed by... 32:55 - Red using "flamboyance" to aid him in disguising himself as a human. 34:34 - The appearance of JENOVA and the JENOVA Emergent theme reaction (Believe me I was right there with you in enjoying that theme. Actually I need to double check when the soundtrack comes to iTunes now that I think of it). Chapter 6: The entirety of the chapter. All of it. Though if I had to pick 3 moments... 39:38 - The girls swimsuit reveal walk. I also love how you didn't even know there were bonus affinity points for coordinating swimsuit tastes between Cloud and Aerith yet got them anyway. 41:21 - This entire scene (which wouldn't feel out of place in Naruto). 43:02 - Cloud's reaction to Yuffie's introduction. Also your mild confusion on if Yuffie was joining or not at this moment. Chapter 7: 44:42 - The running gag of never expecting Zack to show up when he does. 45:45 - The speculation about Aerith. 48:43 - The scene of Barret's past. I think sometimes people forget that even subdued reactions are still very powerful when it means the player is completely absorbed in the story. Chapter 8: 51:50 - Seeing the theater student in you react to this was a huge highlight. Even if it was strange they knew the choreography. XD 53:42 - The reaction to getting Aerith for the mini-date in Chapter 8. No matter who anyone ships, how could they dislike the sheer joy on display here (even if you thought this was the actual big date at the time). I'll cheat a bit here as there's a moment I really like that isn't in this video at all. The Gus entrance and theme song reaction. If anyone does want to see it, it's on the VOD channel about 34 minutes into Part 6. Back to this highlight reel though... 56:20 - The segment here with the one on one fight in the outskirts of Corel. Such a good moment. All the way through to the conversation about Marlene and Barret's scream.

Chapter 9: 1:06:20 - This moment was sweet yet melancholy. Maybe not what most people think of when they think "favorite moment" but tender and heartwrenching moments are needed in any story that aims to tell a grand tale. 1:10:00 - This moment leading into the big moment of Chapter 9. all the way through the big moment. 1:16:50 - Yuffie and Cait Sith's interruption of the kiss. 1:18:28 - Hojo's latest lab experiment. Such a devastating moment for Roche fans. Chapter 10: 1:19:00 - The confusion I had at Red's voice changing like this. I kid you not, I thought they forgot to replace beta lines with the finalized version for a bit. 1:20:24 - The planetarium we all wish we visited as kids. 1:22:00 - This scene. The shots, framing, and light/shadows are perfect! Chapter 11: 1:25:40 - The humor here where Barret thought the entirety of Cloud's backstory was a false memory and almost let it slip. 1:27:30 - Vincent. 1:28:34 - Vincent. 1:30:00 - The 1v1 fight with Roche here. Chapter 12: 1:32:12 - This moment here. I still don't know exactly how this version of Marlene knows that, so I may have to replay Remake to see if there were any visual cues that may point to this. Also, once again I didn't expect Zack here. 1:33:21 - I don't even need to explain my logic for this one. In fact I'm counting the entire Gold Saucer date here. 1:41:25 - This was a good fight. Actually I can't think of a bad Turk fight. 1:42:20 - Seeing all of chat come together to help you on the Rufus fight was pretty awesome. Especially since I feel it wasn't super backseaty to the point of being overboard. We just reminded you to hold square to change your loadout, and mostly gave the advice of "make a 1v1 oriented materia loadout" and then let you play (though I can't imagine beating this on Hard difficulty). Chapter 13: 1:46:20 - I still question the reason for making this an optional fight. I mean it's cool optional content, but I really hope most people played this fight since it feels so integrated into what's happening. 1:56:03 - The swapping back and forth was actually pretty well executed here. I don't normally like the "Oh no. The party is split up." trope, but here it was really well done. 1:58:30 - The music coming in here was great and ominous. Paired with Cloud's Sephiroth-like lines? Man that was crazy. 2:02:57 - This entire segment was heartbreaking. (Also for 2:04:24 man that's brutal, but I can't say I would be mourning for him. I'll leave it at that.) 2:06:55 - Noticing that one chord change the feeling of the music all of a sudden when Cloud makes his messed up comment. 2:15:49 - Vincent. 2:20:15 - This entire segment. So much plot in this one segment. I feel like this may be the second most significant moment in this game. Only bigger moment being the ending of the game.

They separated Aerith and Red from Barret and Tifa in the helicopter scene. You know that helicopter is going straight to Hojo. The reporter said "survivors". So I'm guessing they just pass out. The part where Tifa showed her scar to Cloud , Cloud didn't see the scar , all he saw was boobies.

Tifa is only the optional date, Aerith is the proper date and also she is Rosa 4 out of the 6 dates,Tifa doesn't even get her own love song to Cloud.

Tifa is the optional date, Aerith is probably the canon one. It gets referenced in the story 3 times plus on her page you can see the HA scene, while on Tifa's page you can see LA scene.
