This was really one of the most slept on seasons by a player ever. Russ went to the secondary role, replacing CP3 and teaming with Harden. Went on to average 27-7-7 on 47%. He really was finding his stride after the rocky first 5 games. Before the bubble he and Harden truly were an unstoppable duo. BTW- Another very underrated season was Russ in Washington!

the 7 assists mean nothing when he averaged 4.5 TOV. also, his EFG% was way lower than you'd expect for someone who made 47% of his shots. 50% EFG because he only shot 25% on threes. still, a very good season but presenting his FG% and assists as good when his efficiency was below league average by a good margin and his assists/turnovers ratio was also poor, sets him up to look better than he actually was.
