In aroh pitch one of the best female voices I have heard like that of a soprano or opera singer of west reaching heaven with her voice there is Aum sound in her pitch she has done her riyaz nuts who don't understand hindustani music can make adverse comments yes there are other great maestro's of hindustani music but that does not make this maestro the least there have been singers for thousands of years whom we remember but we can't hear their voices now today so we judge from the music we hear today and their glorious singing my sincere opinion shubhashubh music is soul stirring and took me to god for a moment that is heaven for my soul without any payment to this lady singer who is taking our souls to heaven without expecting any thing in return

Go ahead and listen to your genre. This perhaps is the wrong place for you to be. One needs to understand the beauty of Ragas to feel them. I am not a singer but I have been brought up in a surrounding where classical music and art are respected. If we talk about the heritage we have, this sangeet, is one of the precious gems which we have and can boast.
