I believe Season 5 onwards, Taystee became the Main Character to me. While Piper and Alex were too busy dealing with Alex and Piper Season 5-7, Taystee actually went through this really incredible/tragic storyline, but by the end of the show, she evolved from the girl dancing with everyone to really begin reform in the prison system, while in prison.

It was Taystee or her to be fair. Cindy and Suzanne were the only ones who knew who really killed the guard, but Suzanne wouldn't be considered a reliable witness. As a consequence, Cindy was still on her own here. Still sucks what happened though, even if I get where she's coming from.

Tasty was never a bad person she was just let down too many times it’s sad she had so much potential and a beautiful personality and could have had a really amazing future but had the worst luck her mum abandoned her , she lived in care all her life , moved in with a drug dealer cos she afraid of being homeless , sold drugs as that was her only form of income , both of her best friends died ,then was arrested for something she didn’t even do like she could only keep her smile wide for so long
